Returning to the PC wondering what is going on?

As of tonight I have had to file two tickets, I originally brought this game back in 2013 but got bored and left. Then a few weeks ago added it to my Xbox one and played a bit and realized hey I have the PC version let me see if it is as fun as playing on the console has been. I log in after all this time all my founders stuff is there I have characters but wanted to start off new with a Hunter Ranger, things were fun at first. Then the first issue nothing I do seems to get Identify scrolls to work consistently. In fact I have just stopped picking up gear that drops from mobs since its a waste of time I am sitting with a ton of ID scrolls that simply will not work. I am only level 34 currently, all the gear I have is 20-32 and unidentifiable even by the scrolls I brought in the wondrous bazaar. I thought I read this bug was fixed but right now its not, logging in and out only seemed to help the refinement issue I was having where I was getting an error message for that to. But still have no way of identifying items dropped especially rare ones.

The second issue and this is a major annoyance since I checked my Xbox version and its only the PC doing this. I am not receiving rough Astral Diamonds for completing Dungeons. Mind you Ive only done the Cloak Tower and Cragmire Crypt so far. Since I am still fairly rubbish I like to run alone in the console I do this with no problem and get my rough AD. So nothing for running on the PC is this WAI? DO I have to wait on a group now? I get the no AD for invoking anymore. I have two Alts from early on who have plenty of AD from those days. I don't want to have thing just handed to me. But if I complete a Dungeon even if its on my own am I not supposed to receive Astral Diamonds now? I am confused an any help on this would be appreciated. I filed Tickets but I was hoping someone here would know if this is supposed to happen in the PC version. If so I regret renewing my VIP for the month, and will just go back to playing on my Xbox until they find a way to mess that version up. I really don want to its easier for me travel wise to be able to play this game on PC. But at this point I don't know if its worth it. Thank you ahead of time for any response.

    * AD from running dungeons was moved to the random queues. You need to queue in the Random category to receive AD. This will get to XBox when they get next mod update.
    * AD from invoking was removed a long time ago due to excessive botting of it. You now get an AD bonus, that will be added to your AD as you earn it. You will actually earn more AD now.. as long as you make the AD to get the bonus.

    Thank you for responding this is disapointing, I will play on the Xbox version till the nerf then because I barely have AD on that format and I know its only going to get rougher to gain such. As for my PC version I did buy a month VIP thinking this would be great to start fresh, I feel buyers remorse for real.

    Getting to 68 on my HR in the Xbox version I know how much AD will be needed, and I have been working on my second alt just to Dungeon delve to build up. I understand the invocation nerf it does not bother me at all but the accomplishment of dungeon running for RAD should not have been touched in my opinion. And while I have a decent amount of AD on my first two characters ever made in the PC game, it is going to be a pain in the butt to constantly just to do what I hoped to earn on my new HR. I like the ability to solo things time wise and skill wise it has helped me a lot on the console version and it makes the game more immersive for me right now. I dont know what the developers were thinking but I do not see how random queuing for dungeons will do anything but hurt dungeon use because ive lost all interest in bothering with it. And now any hopes for PC end game is meh to me now.

    And once they bring this to the console I may as well go back to other games its sad it felt nice to come back and appreciate all the new things but I had hoped Neverwinter would become a long term mmo for me and it looks like that will not be the case.

    Actually, I'm finding 1 random epic dungeon, 1 random skirmish, and 1 random dungeon and I'm good for the day on AD.
    I'm not looking for forgiveness, and I'm way past asking permission. Earth just lost her best defender, so we're here to fight. And if you want to stand in our way, we'll fight you too.

    On the PC im only level 34 on a new HR that cannot even identify scrolls to upgrade my found gear. Sure I can log into my old TR or CW and buy her a bunch of gear so that maybe when I random queue a dungeon that I do not suck. But the whole point of relearning the game for me was doing it without twinking. On the console it was pretty easy to do that I didnt have anything and it feels like an accomplishment to have gotten to 68 without any of the benefits. I could not imagine doing that now on the PC version with a new alt, I have been trying and it is painful. And I don't even get hit with some of the other things I saw like new players who cannot even chat (thank goodness for being a founder even if I did not play long after buying the game originally). It just seems this will hurt new players more than anything and anyone who isnt ready to group up yet or like soloing.

    I really do like the game getting to run with Minsc, Drizzt, and Bruenor was awesome enough to make me go hey let me fire up my PC version since I do travel so that I can get to that point on here. But I can see the long term playability factor being even harder for players like me especially as I get to higher levels. I hope I am wrong I will see but this has really nerfed my enthusiam towards coming back to this game.

    I would say hit me up in game and I'd send you some scrolls, but I already sent out all the unbound scrolls that I had.

    I actually find it slightly easier now to make my daily 36k AD quota. Also more variation in game since we do not repeat eToS over and over.

    But that is from the point of view with fairly well geared characters.

    As for id scrolls, you need to be aware that id scrolls have use levels associated with them. So if you cannot use some id scrolls, you need to get the scrolls intended for your level range.

    As a workaround until they fix the bug I think the scrolls will still work if you use the new 'identify all' button from the bottom right menu on the inventory screen.

    Yes, they do work if you use I'D all,, I've been pulling a few thousand refinement points per day just from green gear alone

    Xbox version is running mod 12a. PC version is running mod 12b. There are significant change between 2 mods. People in PC are still "adapting" the change. In addition, mod 12b was landed last week. There are quiet a few bugs. These days RAD are earned through salvaging (depends on how much dungeon runs you want to do) and not effective until you are level 70. The more dungeon run you do, the portion of RAD from salvaging is higher.

    PC is the "testing platform" for new mod for consoles. Console will be like this within a few months.
