Can I test my foundry quest with a friend of mine before release?

Hello, I think the discussion title is pretty clear. Is there a way to test my foundry quests with a friend? If so how? Thank you. :) Also for some reason every time I pm someone my foundry editor crashes.

You'll have to publish it, wait for it to appear in "For Review", (this can take a little bit) and pair up to run the quest. Once it's published you can still go back and edit or add to the quest as much as you desire. When a quest is chosen to be "Featured," an uneditable copy of the original quest is created with a different short code. If, for some reason you should wind up in separate instances of the quest, one person should go to the character select screen and return. This happens from time to time.

do you have to submit it to be featured or something? because i would hope so in case there were a few minor edits left right before and it ended up featured with a version with those minor bugs right before a bugfixed polished version is released.

Yes, you do have to submit your quest manually. It's not difficult, it's just a button. But, make sure you have thoroughly gone over all aspects of your quest before doing so. It might help to have a few extra sets of eyes run your quest, because often things are missed. Quests have not been Featured for some time now. I'm not sure if Andy ever passed that knowledge on to @nitocris83 or not. It was a CM function that fell to the wayside as Foundry fell off the radar. Keep in mind that she's also fairly busy, so it may be some time before she can find out. I have a quest that I'm almost finished with that I would like to be Featured, so I might try to get in touch with her to find out if she knows, and if not, I will volunteer to be the experiment so to speak. :)
