I see the details of the Jubilee Event have been released. I see nothing of the Zen sale. Does this mean there will be no Zen market sale that has
usually accompanied this event?

they never announce the zen sale. it just happens. Frankly I'm surprised they announced the 2x they announced.

Go to the news section for details, but it arrives on the same day as the mod update. Personally I'd have preferred them doing it 2 days later on the Thursday as the mod update shuts me out between ~5pm - 11pm so I'll miss the first day of the event.

Have to say, given the short term opportunity to farm double runes/enchants during a double RP, vs new content that will be there forever, I think its not the best idea to launch the new content at the start of the Jubilee.
Wouldn't it have been more exciting to build up to it when the "Double Mania" had died down at the end of the Jubilee?

At least I'll be able to read all about the fun I've got waiting for me at the end of a week of knocking the back out of Elemental Evil zones, skirmishing Protectors Enclave, and clearing HEs in the stronghold.

Any news if these free items will be per account or per character; BtA or BtC?

I'm fairly sure its one per account. And believe I'm right in thinking that most if not all are BtA

I think many are BTC, you should get the item on the character you want it for just to be safe.

So my guess is one per account, BtC.

My mistake. I could have sworn I swapped a bunch of them over last year. I started my second character the week after the Jubilee and am sure I shifted stuff across. Getting my second Angel next Thursday...
But even if so, I suppose that doesn't mean it would be the same this time.

It says in the blog, just below the second picture "In addition to our week of bonuses and freebies, Protector's Enclave will be decorated with celebratory banners while performers juggle and breathe fire on the city streets. The doors to the richly decorated Protector's Garden will open to all visitors during the event, but after the festivities, only those who have redeemed a Garden Key may enter."
