Hey Devs, why don't you make piercing blade scale with buffs like it used to and make it non piercing damage. This would mean that it could be mitigated which would be helpful to the struggle pvpers have against it and it would also bring us more in line with trappers in pve,
who's damage is still the top dog overall. I think it would be a beneficial change for both types of players. What do you guys think?
I see few good combat hrs but when I do they're amazing but we're about even. However, they might be rare to see, but when I find a good trapper, and I mean really good, their damage is just on another level. This makes it harder for combat specced people trying to bridge the difference. For those who don't believe this go find the top hrs in the game and they'll all tell you the same, including Sume. We're really good with burst damage especially when there are buffs but when you have a trapper it's a slowly but surely win is they're playing as correctly as possible. Ive just about reached the point in where I've made almost all the improvements I can and I can finally see that combat does indeed have this limit. I know some may think it will hurt us in pvp but we will still have a decent amount of damage. We're pretty sure at some point combat might be changed due to all the outcries and the results of piercing damage, but wouldn't this be a welcome change for all?

your proposed change would kill combat in pvp and make it too strong in pve.
if something has to be done i would start fixing many bugs affecting the class: like feytouch stop working, orcus set ignoring some powers, weapon enchantments that do not proc the weapon damage % on 99% of our powers, seeker vengeance not working with melee powers.
only the last 2 fixes listed would increase combat single target power drastically and only in pve.
