Hunter rangers way too broken lol

From my experience combat hr's dealing too much physical damage and have too much deflect and selfhealing. With buffs from other sources they can kill you in sec no matter how tanky you are.

Trapper hr's these days can perma cc even with the control resist boons and trans elven you still are almost perma cc'd.
A trapper should NOT have dps yet i've seen a lot trappers lately dealing high dps. My sw has 15k defense, 9k deflect and 175k hp using and fully pvp specced.

Perhaps trans elven is bugged again and cause the trapper deal more dps, i dunno but dev's really have to look into this. This class is way too broken.

your high defense 15k wow over kill is useless against Hr and Tr piercing damage
LOL and 175k hitpoints are really low that is not pvp spec
MAYBE switch defense boon for hitpoints

seems like your build is also broken ..
you also did not say how much life steal you have and what mount insignia bonuses you are using

one feat of HR is enough to nullify half of my powers, enchants, boons, armor, artifacts, reinforcement, mount bonus and feats.
one feat does it all

HR damage go linear with his stat. regardless the target stat as well.

one time i had 1:1 with HR, i noticed i do lot of damage to him (i play DC), i inspect his armor and he is using jarl gaze
HR best PVP armor is also best PVE armor

one time i had a match that was equal to some point. both reach 500 points and suddenly my team stoped advancing.
i noticed a 3.7CW spam ray of frost, i inspect his armor and no he doesn't have stamina drain, strange why don't he use repeal? then came a 3K HR and kill me in 2 sec! 3.7 CW need to play support for HR
a 3.2 GF comes, all he try to do is flank me and use break the knee, strange as GF usually burst me to pieces?
then came 3K HR and kill me in 2 sec! 3.2 GF need to play support for 3K HR
a 3.5K TR comes, suprise me with courage breaker. strange cause with his power he can allmost one kill hit me?
then came 3K HR and kill me in 2 sec! 3.5K TR need to play support for 3K HR
a 4.3K GWF comes and use his daily while i still have astral shield, strange as this GWF knows how to play, why he do that?
then came 3K HR and kill me in 2 sec! 4.3K GWF need to play support for 3K HR
best tactic is all to play support class for HR regardless of the stat, class or what ever.

consider tooltip is sacred (and complicated) as the bible and should never be challenged.
i will not suggest change this feat to multiply his ArP. or give us all piercing damage so we can get rid of the PVP armor and have some space in the inventory.

i propose an ALT solution.
remove the inpection option from PVP.
it will not only solve the class balance but also the Q system. no one should know how, why and who kill them.

ok i understand now.
if there is one HR i should repsec, slot only radiant and give up my deflect and mount boons.
should i use PVE vivified aromr? it got better HP after all

I hate to say this but PVP fixes break PVE. PVE fixes tend to break PVP.

IMO if you want to do a PVP player game go play Street Fighter and other fighting games online. That is of course my opinion and is why I don't play PVP on any MMO game unless PVP provides some type of benefit to the PVE side.

I didn't wrote anything about a tr. I am using sh defense boon + my current defense = 15k. I use this when i face gf/gwf/hr trapper why? because they don't have piercing damage like tr's or combat hr's. When i face tr's and combat hr's i switch to sh hp boon which makes me have around 215k hp.

Hr class is way too broken since mod 10 and should be balanced like sw and gf.
Only a hr would disagree with me lol.

That's a fighting game and not a rpg/mmo game. We can't ignore the fact that hr's are broken af. It must be balanced like sw and gf

They need to choose between being tanky trappers with no dps or glascannon combatants with piercing damage. Can't be both tanky and have high dps at the same time.

I did read your post your are having trouble surviving against piecing damage opponents notably hrs .. and I mentioned the 2 class that deliver it
I asked what your life steal and insignia bonuses were and again no answer perhaps YOU should read my post properly too then if that is the game you want to play

P.s the pvp Sw I know if running around with 250K hitpoints so yes you are little low there bro ..

My sw is sb fury and 15 points in temp.
My LS is 25.7% with sparks and feats is around 30% with 2k extra lifesteal from my mount = 33% but i don't use it since 30% is good enough.
Lifesteal severity is 117% and it gets doubled, which will be 234% for 10 seconds every 30 seconds.
My insignias are all about healing. I can tank very well against a hr trapper/combatant at 1v1.
Hr class is just way too broken and by that i mean they can be very tanky, (have decent cc if combatant) decent selfhealing and deal high damage. Now tell me if that's not op?

Sounds like another there nerf thread. @kalina311 is spot on, raise up your hit points. Hitpoints are better than defense, especially if your running healing insignia bonuses.

You mean like every GF ever?

GF are abusing the double mark bug which does insane damage atm. I prefer fighting 2 gf's than 2 hr combatants why because i can survive their burst dps. Piercing is just cheap and should be applied to other classes too or be applied to tenacity and have it not be buffed from any other sources.

Just played 2 dom matches with my pve spec combat toon. PvP is just cheese at the moment. Combat cheese, trapper permastun cheese, GF 2 shot cheese, cw repel cheese, gwf permadeath anybuild cheese, lionspam cheese, permacb TR cheese, whatever it is SWs do cheese. I'm sure DCs and OPs also have cheese, but unsure of the variety or smell.

Just call it Pvcheese and roll it all back to mod2.

My sw is maxed, i just jumped on my hr which has all the boons unlocked except the new content, transfer all my enchants and make some stuff legendary (soon will be mythic) and start killing with cheap piercing

Don't forget perma courage break daily build trs who reduce your movement speed to zero because of a bug. Trust me combat is not the worst of your worries if you play a dodgeless class.

NW has a bunch of cheese both in PVE and PVP.

I can read just fine, thank you. I'll clarify: I'm implying that anyone that is proud enough to post in their signature that they used the most broken build known to the game, doesn't really get a lot of sympathy from me (yes, an HR).

I agree with a lot of the above people....PVP is broken in so many ways that a complete overhaul would be needed, and even then, I doubt they could get it right without basically reducing things to at wills only or something silly.
