Any other guilds at max gamertag capacity but not at character limit, yet can't add alts?

Today our guild reached 150/150 gamertags but we are only at 299/500 characters. Attempted to add one of my guildee's alts today and got an error message that we are at capacity and cannot add any more. This is NOT a new gamertag, this is an alternate character of an existing gamertag. I tried adding vis chat window as well as using the invite member button in the roster.

There is an unofficial soft cap (bug) at 149. If you go above 149, you cannot invite alts. Kick one and use 149 as the max for the future.5
