Vivified relic armor

What's up pc players
Ps4 player here. First D&D and mmorpg game ever and I'm hooked lol. So seeing as how things always run through the pc community first, I'm confused about item in hand "vivified relic armor ". Now I know the new relic armor has an upkeep to give it the best stats and that sounds like it sucks to be honest. Tier 3 stats are awesome and all but I'm not feeling that combat time. Especially when you only really need the armor for FBI runs, and I'll be kinda annoyed to go in there with tier 3 and come out with tier 1 because the first couple runs until you get used to it I heard were brutal. So I said the hell with that I'll probably just get all my dragonflight gear to elemental and roll with that. Maybe once my guild reaches a high enough level go grind for the adamant gear. Then when I was looking up some builds I saw vivified relic armor. Can't find any info or basically what the hell it actually is lol. My main question is this vivified gear a whole separate thing from regular relic gear or is the relic gear turn to vivified like dragonflight goes to elemental??? I'm just extremely confused about this relic armor. If vivified armor is different than regular relic gear I'm guessing the base stats will be certainly better than getting my dragonflight elemental. All in all just looking for some info so when the ps4 gets updated in January I'll have a plan of how I want to attack getting the best gear. Thanks and cheers.
Also thanks for all the builds and getting me prepared for "the grind" and horrible drop rates, rng, and going through HUNDREDS of preservation wards lol
