Ok, this isn't just me, I've asked. It is a widespread problem and it is getting worse. It's not our video cards or our rigs, because we can play other games (even Cryptic games, like Champions) without crashing. It seems to ONLY be Neverwinter. It isn't just a matter of what version of DirectX we are using, because I have crashed when using both Direct11 and Direct9. I even upgraded to a new solid state hard drive and made sure my video card was up to date with the latest driver.
Whatever you are doing on the code end (if anything...) isn't working. I personally have played this game since Mod 1 and have never had issues like this before. It has become a daily (or multiple daily) occurrence. You yourselves have admitted to having graphics issues (Patch Notes 12/15: "A known crash in texture rendering has been partially alleviated, and remaining occurrences should provide more data for diagnosis") so please do not pass the buck. I'm no computer whiz but it seems if you're going to continue to create processing-heavy maps and instances (Svardborg, anyone?) then you need to have up-to-par code to match.
Feedback from the moderators or devs on this would be much appreciated.
