New content unavailable after Epicenter bug and abandoning initial shrine quest

After experiencing multiple "Unable to connect to gameserver" bugs while trying to travel to epicenter with thistle to complete the "protect the shrine" quest for the first time, and having discarded the quest in hopes of a reset, I am unable to progress in new content. No dailies have been available in the first two zones for over a week. Support is no help, obviously....
Today, I was able to pick up the weekly in the fist zone only, but still no way to actually progress. Please fix and assign relevant quests so I may progress.
