Should they Switch, Game economy system to Sto system, using gold/silver/copper for ah and not AD?

Thing is with neverwinter, getting zen takes a while with a huge backlog and the game ecconmy. They really need to use seperate currencies. Astrodimiands should not be used for ah because the fact by using the one currecy just makes it harder and its the main reason for the backlog.
With startrek online this problem does not happen you can get the zen you need. The bots are not bad, and its a player driven econemy. IF they switched the currency to coin and not ad this would benfit neverwinter a lot. Possibly help bring a lot more players into the game that are willing to buy zen so they can get fast ad. Just like people buy dil in sto with zen.

Yes this would fix the problem with the bots plus make zen easier to get and faster to get plus make the game thrive.

    I wonder if you can explain why you would think that you get more ZEN if you can buy it with gold instead of AD?

    No because I don't like change and its fine the way it is.
    How about giving us a choice to list for either gold or AD? People are already trading with gold, and hey, there is no AH cut. How about that?

    Well, i would rather have prefered to pick something like:
    No, but the current system has to change, and the Devs have to give the players better options to spend AD.
    I do believe in killing the messenger...

    your poll is loaded and wont be used for any real feedback discussion.

    If you upset that the zax is so backglogged, im sure you would find many that feel similiar.

    But in the past when it got this high, it was usually some exploit, that was eventually found and shut down.

    I have no idea what 100% is driving it, however, personally , I never sold any zen, never even bought any until it dropped for awhile and got pretty cheap.. anything beyond like 3-400 range and I never bothered, just paid real money for the stuff I wanted.. as I could use real AD for stuff in game instead.

    Also your suggestion does , nothing really, you exchanging one currency for another, in addition.. WHO would want gold.. no one, so have no idea why you think this would help the game out. Makes zero sense to me.

    Loaded poll choices aside, I have said since the Alpha days that the economy system should be, should have been, and still should be the same set-up that STO has. It's been a while since this topic has come up. I just don't agree with making RTM currency a part of the Auction House system. Astral Diamonds, like Dilithium, should have always been player only and not open for trade/economy manipulation. Gold, Silver, and Copper should have been used for player trading.

    I agree the poll is poorly worded (and loaded), but what I think he MEANT to say was that if you make take the AD out of AH (you can still grind for it to earn AD), and make more things usable for purchase via gold (maybe get rid of tarmalune bars and use gold?), you have things that can only be purchased via real money or AD grind, and the rest that are tradable for gold via the AH. I think there would be a need to think carefully about what is purchasable for AD or gold, but it would still allow a ZAX, and the AH becomes the gold/tarmalune exchange.
    Of course, what they really need to do is re-work the zen cost of items, many are so overpriced it is silly.

    MICRO-purchases are the future, not WHALE purchases!

    Might is not always right - the powerful sometimes forget that.
