Trade/give astral diamonds?

Never tried to do that before, but is astral diamonds tradable or are we able to give some to our friends or guild members?

Comments

  • I don't believe so. Have the person/friend put up an item in the AH that no one will buy and have them set a buyout price of what you're trying to give them. I typically do a Jewel Encrusted Plate and set the bid at 15 or 20 AD. You'll have to take into account the money that the AH takes, but I think this is really the only way.

I highly recommend NOT doing this, as it can get your account flagged for buying/selling AD via 3rd party. If you want to give your family AD, buy them a prepaid PSN card.

Usually we just buy cheap rings or alliance gear and hand them to the person to salvage, doesn't help them if they have already refined their max for the day though.

This is good to know haha. I appreciate the heads up! On a side note, would it matter if it was just myself and my friend? We loan AD to each other when either of us are low, as it's much easier (and cheaper) to transfer some AD than buy a $20 PSN card. I have NO idea why Playstation stopped selling anything less than $20 cards.

I have two accounts for NWO on my single PS4...and what kind of "goldseller" only sells to people using the same console?
A simple IP check would confirm it. (lol)
(I hated the name on my old account, so I created a new one.)

I have spent WELL OVER $600(US) on NWO Zen between the two accounts.
I still have 190 Days left of VIP on my old account, and over 240 days left on my new account.

The above way has been the only way for me to transfer LEGALLY GAINED items/Diamonds between the old account, and the new account.
If either of them gets banned for me using the only means provided by the Developement Company to keep the things I have already paid for, and legally have a right (According to the TOS) of access to...well, there would be holy Hell to pay.
(Not just from me, but from my wife...she would kill me for spending that much money on a game to begin with! LOL! )

Quick to point that out.. Great Job.. But also kinda sad... quick to jump in and throw 2cents around when money is involved but nothing else when there is a Widely known "not showing up in que group" issue going on with a 3 or 7 dozen people posting about it asking for some help..

    Just saying...

That's not something I am really able to help much with personally, as I haven't experienced it. I'm not a dev or anything.

someone told me that at the stores that sell the cards, you can just tell the person at the register to enter a $5,$10, or whatever you need and they can make a card that says "$20" to be a $5 etc.

Transferring AD between accounts is frowned upon and may wind up getting you banned. I strongly suggest to stop this practice. The Auction House is not meant to be used as a place to transfer money between players or accounts. Thinking it is, is well quite foolish. The very nature of an Auction House is common knowledge. It is meant as a place to buy and sell from other people or businesses and not meant as a place to launder money or trade with oneself... So yes, by using it to transfer AD, you are indeed violating the game's ToS and EULA for you're using it in a method not intended by its mechanics. Since you haven't been banned yet, I suggest again that you stop this practice now before you are noticed and instead play the game and use the Auction House the way it was meant to be.

Never tried to do that before, but is astral diamonds tradable or are we able to give some to our friends or guild members?

No, there are no intended mechanics to give or receive AD directly to or from other players/accounts. I suggest to either buy your friends/family PSN Prepaid Cards or buy the item(s) for them from the Auction House and either Trade or Mail the item(s) to them. The rest, they'll need to acquire AD on their own through legitimate gameplay.

Closing this up now as there is nothing more to discuss as all that will continue is an argument over the ToS and EULA, which is not allowed. Please direct ToS and EULA inquiries to Support, through Support. Thanks!
