I love and appreciate all the high end multiplayer content, but I'd love to see some really challenging end game solo content for us to throw ourselves at when we don't have a party to play with. Am I alone in this or is this something other people would like to see too?

Also, class plays a big role in difficulty of content. I found campaign are easier on my GF than my DC, because my GF does not take as much damage in and both class produce similar damage out.
If you are a GWF vs a CW, the GWF will find it easier due to higher AC, HP, and the damage they produce is similar to a CW. The funny thing is, most of the players I talk to who state campaigns are easy are playing SW, GWF, OP, and GF. The classes with the easiest time in campaigns.
It also might be that I had been planning to have 1600 as soon as I hit 70, so I just sort of walked in to Well...
Now my gear is roughly 2000 with a purple fire archon to back me up and I basically sleep walk through the dailies &C. I guess I was thinking of some solo content perhaps with the Gold/Silver/Bronze system they use in the skirmishes so that there's a higher cap without excluding players from doing it.
Campaigns are as close as you are likely to get.
Ravenskya - TR / Krisha Chaos - OP / Waffles - GF / Dex Domitor - HR
Becky the trendy GWF - GWF / Too Toasty - SW / Falcor - DC / Morrigan - CW / Sir Didymus - OP
TR are a great solo class. You go stealth and get combat advantage. You also have one of the strongest companions and he is purple. He provides you a nice bonus in damage as well. I wonder if you have a mount power that increases your damage out as well to improve how EASY things are for you, for instance, if you have a legendary mount and have say +4K power you will have an easier time than someone who does not have that. Also, you would have the mount ability to attack, again not something everyone has.
My DC had issues early on due to a bad build I created as I was going pure healer for the longest time and it was a very hard road to get past the leveling missions. Once I hit 70 I did some research and found a build that improved my character so much that I have not looked back, my DC is not squishy or weak any more.
But like I was saying though, my GF I did the same thing went all tank but had no issues leveling him from level 1-60 and never had any issues at all. Even from 60-70 was a cake walk. Not so much for my DC.
My CW I already see issues with it compared to even my DC in lower levels and I'm a much more experienced player now than I was when I started in July. I honestly feel that the CW is a very squishy class.
I have played all classes now in the game.
IMO soloing content if you play GWF, GF, TR, OP, HR and SW you should have limited to no issues with solo content for the most part and that is because these classes are strong in either longevity or high damage output in a short time or a combination of both, GWF.
When you play a DC they have more defensive stats than a TR or SW but the damage is lower, so solo content takes longer and the defense stats are not as good as a GF or OP, so they cannot take the hits as much and the burn is about as good as those classes, therefore a DC has a harder road to climb than a GF or OP.
CW can do very well in damage but they are the true glass cannons in this game and it really hurts this class when you solo and if you get hit or run out of stamina it means almost instance death from what I have seen.
IWD is not as hard IMO as WotD. WotD area where you go inside and fight three enemies all at once in very small room, OMG I HATED THAT and I was IL 2300 when I went in the first time. I was like OMG, I died. I did not die at all in any other campaign dungeon areas, that was my first time and it was not once but twice. I kept running out of stamina trying to avoid attacks.
IWD I only had an issue when a mission was literally placed right on top of a heroic encounter. That was the lone issue I had and I did not die but it took quite a while for me to finish up that mission.
The armor I am talking about is called Anointed Armor. It provides +4 AC and +2% deflection chance for each power point added to it. With four in there, you get +16 AC or 8% increase in DR and 8% increase in deflection chance.
My build uses this...
I'm Anointed Champion Righteous Paragon for the stronger DPS and group buffing.
My solo setup is this...
At-Wills: Astral Seal and Blessed of Battle (BoB)
Encounters: Chains, Break the Spirit and Divine Glow
Dailies: Hallow Ground and Flame Strike
Personals: Battle of Frevor and Anointed Armor
3 uses of BoB and I have divinity mode. I use Chain 3x for divinity and than I hit Break the Spirit right after that followed by Divine Glow and Chains.
The normal chains has the buff from Break the Spirit (30% damage increase) and has the buff from Divine Glow. The normal chain for me hits around 60-100K when doing this. Without doing this I'm hitting normally around 40K.
Because I went the Righteous path I get increase in damage when I apply a DoT and that comes from Break the Spirit. So between the Empowered buff of Break the Spirit, Condemned buff, and Divine Glow I have no issues producing damage.
I than follow that up with 3 BOB and rinse and repeat. With my recovery where it is at, it flows perfectly.
When I run dungeons I simply swap out Chains for Bastion. That simply adjustment works for most groups. If the tank is squishy or the DPS than I add in Astral Shield.
When I heal I use BoB 1x to get the buff for the group than I use Astral Seal and tag all the enemies. When I go into Divinity mode I use Divine Glow 3x as it provides a debuff on the enemies and is a healing move as well.
If you want added protection for you DC go with the Lanthander set. Otherwise I recommend the Tiamat or Imperial set. I personally think the Imperial set is the better of the group as both the neck and belt provide Power, Crit Strike and Recovery for stats and the neck also increases your Action Points gained.
If I am on my game and I'm not dodging every 2 seconds I can almost keep hallow ground up indefinitely, especially with the Burning Weapon set.
DC stat focus from my experience is this..
Crit Strike is your most important stat. It provides increase in heals, you can get free heals when you land a damaging crit strike and it boost your damage.
Power: More power = more healing and damage
Recovery: More recovery means more Action Points and being able to keep others alive due to lower cool down time.
