Still trying to get my 1k Dragon slayer trophy :-/

I've contacted Arc a couple times about this and the first time asking why there is no tracker in my achievements to tell me how many dragon's i've killed after 50 and they gave me some automated reply with no actual reason and the second time was asking if they could give me the number of dragon's i've killed so i can actually write it down and keep track myself but no luck there either.

I honestly have no clue how many dragon's i've killed but i would like to know so i could come up with a better plan to kill 1000 dragons, i'm lucky if i kill 10 dragons a day in well of dragons raid twice a day

This should annoy many players trying to get this trophy really unless they all seem to remember exactly how many they have killed over time and don't care that other players are annoyed about this and really someone should petition Arc about this problem.

I think this could be fixed by a few ways really.
1. add achievement tracker in achievement list in game
2. change most dragons if not all that exist in well of dragons to count toward this trophy
3. patch the trophy so instead of 1000 it should be 100 (this makes way more sense that 1000 could've been a typo on someones part then again they could be sadistic that think making players kill 1k dragons with no tracker after 50 is fun or something)

It's not a typo. It has been 1000 since it came out. It's not going to get changed now.

Dragon heralds already count, so there is nothing to change except to get more players running them. Are you able to show some of them not being counted?

The other platforms had it a little easier since each had a time when TOD/Well of dragons were the current and most populated areas. On PS4, it's going to take some effort and determination. One of the downsides of getting all the modules at once. Dragon's Bane will take work.

If you are in a hurry, you can always run Caverns of Karrundax(There was 7 in there with the Wyrmlings as I recall) in addition to the ToD, WoD and Stronghold dragons.

well it doesn't normally take me 2+ months to platinum a game so this is a real stretch for me but i'm over 2400 ilvl CW
WoD is full of lag mostly when the 5 dragon's pop up and even before and after and FPS drop like a rock during fights on PS4

I'm not sure what is counted and what isn't since i have no proof after killing 50 for the trophy
i could have killed 200 maybe 250 by now i have no idea since i have no proof :-/

the arc app has the details but we don't have the arc app yet (dunno if we ever will) there are rewards for getting all the trophies when and if that ever hits for us.

Does it have to be 1,000 dragon kills with the same character? That would suck because I switched main characters. Same with 25 epic dungeon trophy. used to run them with a CW now using a DC and like it more. You can also get dragon kills replaying chapter 4 you get from Bruno Battlehammer. There are a lot of dragons in there and I'm pretty sure they count.

I think dragon kills count with all characters i had like 41 on my hunter before i switched to CW which probably has 200ish maybe i dunno...because there is no proof !

In general, the achievements/titles in the journal are per character and PSN achievements are by account.

Thank you. That makes these achievements a little easier for people that like to play multiple characters. It would also help a lot of they added some kind of tracker for this, as mentioned above.

which quest in ch4 are dragons present because all i saw were demons of all shapes,sizes,flavors

In chapter 4? It starts with almost nothing but dragons. Wyrmlings=Dragons

It's chapter four (pretty sure it's chapter four) from the quest you get in MD not the chapters you get from the guy on the horse in PE. They are replayable.

It is a lot of dragons in there. I haven't counted them but there has to be over ten all easy to kill small dragons.

Also when running your Daily dungeons for AD do Karrundax - that has several small dragonlings in it as well.

Can anyone confirm if the dragons in chapter 4 actually count towards the trophy?

Unfortunately they do not count in chapter 4. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link other websites, but a well known trophy website has a thread up about this trophy where numerous people have reported that they do not count as dragons in chapter 4. It was tested on a new character before they had 50 dragons kills so it could be tracked, and no progress was made after completing chapter 4.

The only dragons that I know definitely do count are the hourly dragons in WoD, Stronghold dragons, all the various cult dragons that spawn in Neverdeath, Rothe Valley etc. plus the dragons and wyrmlings in the Caverns of Karundax dungeon (7 per run).

Thanks for the info, good to know what counts. Wasted a lot of time on them.

In the early mods people used to run the Tyranny ones from Neverdeath etc a lot more but I made most progress in WoD where you could kill 10 per hour. This was well before SH dragons so now you have that option too.
