No Underdark

Can't start the underdark questline, Capt. Belgold only gives a goodbye not any quests. Any one know a solution?

Check the quest journal to make sure you didn't already pick up the quest. I forget the next step after accepting it or I'd say go try that.

Thanks for the suggestion, however I can't find anything in the journal history that would link me to the quest.

Which quest in the Underdark are you trying to start?

I think he's trying to Journey into the Underdark. I've never had it be an issue in any of my characters.

Isn't that the one you pick up from Bruenor Battlehammer in Mantol Derith? Or is it the one you get in the Tavern before that?

I can't remember. Someone does send you to talk To Battlehamner but I can't remember the steps.

I didn't do anything and I'm already done 1 boon and working on the other. I still have the NPC to go see and get all of those quest. I'm still grinding through EE. I simply run the skirmishes and used the mark to open up the boon. Not sure what you need to do or who to talk to, but I found getting the campaign mark got my stuff going.

I was trying to get into underdark, but I've given up on Cpt. Belgold as I have plenty of other quests. As a friend of mine explained it's still early lvl 70 for me and to continue the grind and sooner or later another link will open. Thanks to all for your efforts.

Underdark boons aren't gained through following quests, you get them by collecting faerzress from running demonic heroic encounters, the underdark skirmishes and demogorgon.

You're confusing it with the Dwarven King quests which are more of an introduction.

This is a bit tricky. You need to complete the chapters first and that is when the campaign gets unlocked. There are like 10 chapters if I am not mistaken.

You are confusing the Maze with the Underdark quest. The maze engine quest do require running through the chapters. The Underdark quest requires you to run the Prophecy of Madness or Throne of the Dwarven Gods, or demonic encounters to obtain faerzress to open up the Underdark Campaign.

I have not started any chapters and I'm already working on my second boon. Why, because I run the skirmishes daily and have since I hit level 70. I recommend you do the same.
