Setups
To draw people from PVP to PVE and from PVE to PVP or just to cover different needs n' testing without having to constantly respec or switch gear, powers etc.
- From your charater sheet you are presented with a Y option called 'Setups", once opened you'll see a list with your current Setup, aka "Setup 1" by default and can be renamed as you wish.
- Right below it will present you with "Buy a Setup Slot", costs 3,000 Zen per slot.
- If you buy a second Setup it'll start out with nothing equipped, and as if you just fully repec'd you're toon, except it will not allow a different race, all setups share the same race, and inventory items, and power points distubuted.
- So if you switch from one setup to another it'll change the paragon, gear, equipped powers, feats, boons, companions, and mounts to whatever you want that setup to be made for.
- Maybe a second setup for PVP or second for PE, or one for each it's up to you. Max slots may vary 2-4.
- You cannot switch the Setup for another in the middle of dungeons, skirmishes, pvp. (Maybe, but only if you're out of combat and at a Campfire) If your outside these area's you can switch it freely.Respec tokens will only work on the currently active setup you're using.
- Equipped enchantments on one Setup will transfer over to the equipped gear in the other setup if they use the same enchantments.
Reasoning
- This will allow players to play both PvE and PvP if they wish to do so, without feeling pentilized for wanting to branch out from they're normal gameplay choice and having to pay zen everytime to do so.
- Allowing players to play on a single character instead of having to re-level a toon of they're same prefered class just for a different gameplay style and maybe use some of the same artifacts and level them up twice.
- Fills up you're collection with both PVE and PVP for those collectors out there~
- Allows them to complete ALL the Campaigns if they wish to do so.
- Testing things would be so much easier, since you can switch back and forth freely.
How does this sound to you guys?
Now I know you might be like "ugh... but PVP is broken..." and yes I know that and ill cover that on a later date in more detail from a reply ive made recently.
Comments
I would be happy with even the ability to save gear and power loads so I can have a solo setup and a group set up, you know just the free stuff.
