Best Rogue Companions

I just hit gear level 2000 and I think the next thing on my list is to find a companion that I will use throughout the game. Any recommendations?

(Also, I have an intellect devourer which seems like a quality companion for a rogue, but is it worth the AD to level up? Will I use it end game?)

    I mostly group because I haven't found much solo content worth the doing at at 2000. Is there something I'm missing?

    If you are running with a group then you want to get companions that bump your stats. I think generally they say to go for the archons or the ioun stones. Over in the Thieves Den on this board there is a great list of what companions are best for different play styles.

    If I run by myself (doing dailys etc) I find it's better to have active a companion that grabs aggro so that I can pull my stealth attacks without having everything on me at once.

    Eranyes, dancing sword, intellect devourer, shadow demon as a bonding summoned, and blink dog.
    I Dropped out of school but i never leave the hall. I grab kids, drag 'em in between the walls. They call me the ghost of the badlands, but i'm really just a killer with big hands.

    Not sure how much this will help, but I run the Merc from the heirloom pack.
    As a bonding companion he's awesome.

    Erinyes and book imp are other good ones for bonding.
    Anything with a quick attack.

    For solo, one of the golem works for me. Iron I believe.
