Paladin tanks for end game.

Greetings fellow protectors of the light. Im in the process of leveling a Paladin and would l like to know where we stand tanks wise for end game content. I want to protect my allies from the evil that is in Neverwinter.

I'm a healing Paladin and our tank is a Paladin - we've made it through everything but all of the Master Epics so far and we're pretty close on those, I think once our third DPS gets his damage up a bit more we will be fine. (to be honest we haven't tried them that many times - we mainly find ourselves in LoL) He actually is the strongest tank in our group, we have two others building GF tanks but they are newer and don't seem to be able to hold up quite yet beyond SoT.

I've been to spider temple on master setting as a protection pally slightly above 2k ilvl, but it was a damn hard thing to pull off, on the other hand I'm a total tank noob and god help me with those epic dungeons I feel like most monsters just plainly ignore my taunting skills, or sth...

Lemme put it this way. I'm a casual player, sometimes playing whole seven days a week, sometimes half of that. I threw some cash at the game for cute stuff, so I wear a decent newbie stuff. And god help me, I enjoy playing paladin more as a healer, then I did as a tank.

Both tanks r viable. Just act deferent ways.
They both of a niche way of tanking. Pally for pre geared up friendly thow. So if first char and learning how to tank in mmorpgs it's a great start

I found combination GF Tactician with my pally very nice working. More GF gets hit, more AP I get. So If we stand close to each other in Orcus fight, perma bubble is back. And Knigths valor seems steals half damage coming to me through bubble

. But fact is, I am focusing on power and recovery (23t recovery in battle) and have flail snail. All this helps for sure. We had very nice runs with: my pally, GF, GWF, SW, DC (buff/debuff). Cant run FBI, because GF and DC are about 2.7k.

yes.. paladins can solo tank without any other tank anything in the game, Ive personally tanked everything outside of fbi(as both gf and pally), and Ive run with a couple in FBI already (with no gf)

however.. they do lack buffs when compared to the GF, so most people like gfs for most content.

but... since tanks and healers are always the least played, you will always find a group giving you a chance.
