Cold Run was the best zone on the preview server. On the other hand, Lonelywood's Training Day and fishing quests didn't give me any trouble on the preview server. When I was testing, the zones were almost empty of players.
Unless I'm wrong in my maths, I'd be in Cold Run right now if not for this maintenance (hit 160 rep yesterday). On the other hand, I disconnected right in the middle of a really good PvP match yesterday afternoon and didn't manage to get logged back in before it was over, which was super annoying.. So while frustrating, if me having to wait a few hours is the price for game stability.... I guess I'm OK with it- as long as... you know... it's actually stable when it comes back up.
I'm decidedly underwhelmed by Makos' signet ring. Offense and utility slots? Meh. If necessary I'll wear it to enter FBI but otherwise I'm not giving up my personalized adamant regen rings and their defense slot.

Dev1: How can we force players to get new gear but not keep the power creep going? Dev2: I know, remember that failed Black Ice thing, where you had to have black ice resist to enter Kessels? Let's copy and paste that in to the new mod for the new dungeon! Then they will have to upgrade their gear to get the resist, and also spend money moving enchants around, and replacing armor kits, and we can make some of the items use campaign currency so they have to grind that longer, and we can also make it take an INSANE amount of time and effort to keep the gear empowered so more grind....... Dev1 and 3: Yes....YES YES YES. Dev4: That sounds very long and boring. In the end, won't they just take off the gear after they enter, like they did with Kessels...making the entire effort simply a time gate? Surely we can make the campaign more than just one long grind, right?

It is NOT what we asked for. A challenging dungeon for Bis players with no loot is the equivalent of a good foundry quest. We asked for a challenging dungeon that drops worthwhile loot. And we got a challenging dungeon that gives you ABSOLUTELY nothing. Whoever sits behind those desks has a serious mental problem, population is declining day by day and the only reasoning behind this new failure is once more, incompetence and total focus on moneygrabbing/time wasting technics. This casino mania with every aspect of the game transformed this D&D game into a brainless facebook game.
They had a chance to create a dungeon that would make everyone drooling about it but that would require LOOT. There is NOTHING else in a D&D game than great loot and Cryptic managed to REMOVE IT a couple of years back. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

Everything I like about new mod is rippped apart by the sheer hatred of them bringing back empowerment.
Playing 2-3 hours to empower a set for 1 hour is lunacy.. even if it was ten hours for every 1 hour.. I would hate it.
