Lockbox Updates

I noticed that the XBox and PC both are getting another updated lockbox. PS4 will soon be 2 lockboxes behind PC and XBox come 8/16.

Is this because PS4 is on mod 8 and not mod 9? If if they do update us, will we be moved right to the latest updates and if not how long will it take to get to where PC and Xbox is at?

I honestly would like to have a shot at the Golden Lion epic mount. That is the only mount I'm really interested in as it would be perfect for my main. Any chance we will see those LB or will PS4 go right to the newest LB?

How did it work for the XBox when NW first launched?

I want the golden lion epic mount. I saw that and liked how it looked. It also has some great stats booster for healers. Really hope to see it soon on the PS4.

The Firemane Lockbox (current lockbox on PC) will probably release on PS4 with the Guild Alliances update....which there's no ETA on when that will occur.

Yeah, I'd like some more info on how the lockboxes work. I was assuming there was some kind of rotation, but in the last week or so I've seen developer blogs for two new lockboxes already. Do they just keep introducing new updated ones all the time?

Coming from PC, haven't played on there in a while but moved to PS4, from what I remember they just change.... It felt like every month or so, from what I recall the old ones never come back into rotation, but it's possible I left before any came back..

Really? I haven't counted or anything, but I thought that when the PS4 version launched it advertised as having all existing mods, and at that time mod 9 was the most current.

Mod 9 is maze engine, so we are on mod 9. May be that they wanted to keep the first lockbox available for a while for ps4, idk. We will probably run behind a bit for a couple of months since it's new to this platform. Least till some of the bugs are ironed out. I imagine they're doing what they can to get us up to speed.

Yeah, I'd imagine their focus is on fixing the loading screen issue and the missing red circles in elite dungeons - I doubt we'll see new stuff until they get the major bugs ironed out first.

Someone answered my question about when we will get the next LB and that is with alliance update, so for now I guess PS4 will have to wait. As for mod 8 vs 9, again that was answered as the maze engine brought on mod 9. Thank you for those responses much appreciated.

As for players complaining about bugs and glitches, the game has been out as of tomorrow for 1 month. I do not expect the game to run flawlessly as other MMO that have been out for years still have their on issues and quarks that if you enjoy the game you simply do the workaround and hope the devs take the time to resolve the issues.

I believe the following will be looked into by the devs: Areas where characters get stuck, end game dungeons and any other game breaking bug that they can fix. As for lag, rendering issues, etc... those type of issues are due one regional server, massive amount of players causing congestion around specific times of day, bad ISP, and low end HD in the PS4.

Players can improve some of the issues with better ISP and HD; however, there still lag due to distance and server congestion at peak times. Either learn to deal with these issues as they will not go away, look on XBox and PC forums section as it plagues them to this day or move closer to the server, not a viable option IMO.

I just hope they fix issues that is impacting character lockout and end game dungeons that are not playable. As for the other issues, I hope they put in time and try to improve thing for most players.

Happy adventuring all and has anybody been lucky enough to land an Epic Griffon Mount? My guild mate got one on his First Lock Box, second LB he got armor enchantment, 3rd he got Epic weapon and at that point I simply now don't want to hear what he gets in his LBs. LOL...

Are we missing the imperial rage drake locbox? i want that mount badly for my gfw....

One of the 70 skirmishes has an AOE that dazes you until you go to the right post to get them back. It was a pain in the rear until we figured that out. Apparently Demigorgon does the same but I haven't tried that one yet.

We figured out that you have to run to the post that is shining blue and you get all of your skills back until you get hit by that aoe again.

Also only 1 player can ususally get it, so let the tank or healer get it first. I was screamed at in one run because I could not heal, why because DPS kept taking it away from me. I mean go in and bam it is gone and they go off and do their thing. Frustrating when players don't pay attention to mechanics.
