Spamming zone with lfg

Ok so I'm just wondering if anything can be done about these people spamming zone chat with lfg and trade requests..it wouldn't be so bad but they keep doing it like 2 or 3 times in less then a minute and it's really getting annoying..I don't want to report them incase it's not considered spamming and that's also the only way to ignore people..so could we please get something done about this?

There really isn't much that can be done. You can turn off that chat channel (or any other chat channels) if you wish, put that's pretty much it. Honestly, Zone chat in PE is like a plague on all platforms.

Yeah it sucks people don't listen when you tell them..not to be rude but it's like they are too stupid to realize there's a chat for what they are looking for..is there any way we can get admins in chats that can delete the spam?

There are channels for LFG and Trade, if they are using zone and not those, I report if I see repeats.

Yeah I'm about to start reporting them..I mean it's not that hard to get to trade or lfg so I don't see why people don't use it..normally I wouldn't have a problem with it but when you ask something it's hard to see what is said cause you get a bunch of people spamming it for trade or lfg

do you not see how bad trade is with gold spammer? pretty much everyone has it tured off because of that

Yeah, until something is done about all the gold spammers you can't blame people for using zone chat for trade. I'd prefer it if people kept guild spam in LFG though, but in general I find PE chat to be so annoying I basically ignore it.

I will agree that I wish people would slow down though. Sending the same message multiple times per minute seems a bit extreme, and fairly pointless. I've actually wondered if there's a bug with the chat system since I often see people send the same thing 3 times in a row, but I'm not sure if they're actually doing it or not. That's really annoying.

i wouldn't have a problem with it if they'd slow it down a bit..they post 3 times in a row wait a minute or 2 and repeat the same message..now lfg is a different story because those people just don't care..they don't want to use lfg for some reason and when you mention it to them they tell you to deal with it

Sadly, trying to use the lfg channel when actually lfg doesn't always work. I think there are too many mmo noobs that don't know the lingo or accepted methodology.

I try to educate, but fear it's a wasted effort.

I've just turned of trade part of the chat. It's cleared the chat up a lot!
