Hypothetically speaking... what would YOU do if...

...you suddenly lost everything?

Imagine some terrible evil thing happened and your main character lost all their belongings...

They still had all their skills, feats, boons and powers etc, but no kit, companions, mounts, zen, AD, even gold...

How would you go about getting back to where you were?

Straight to Sharandar? Start farming dragon treasure? Build up on Faezress and demonic keys?

(for the sake of a bit of fun, let's also assume that all your alts have lost their stuff too...)

Run ToS for AD and gold, and run DHEs for salvage. Use these to gear up in order to get into better runs. Farm Maze engine etc. to get seals from boxes and gear up for t1 and t2.

I would contact support and request a rollback on my account to get all my stuff back, lol. If that weren't a possibility for whatever reason, I'd probably cry for a bit. Then would ~~rob~~ take items from my guild vault to try to replace some of what was lost, ask guildies for help with some of it, and then just work really hard on getting the rest. I have a pretty solid and helpful guild, so I think they would help out.

Funny thing is I actually just like playing the game, I'm not in it for the esteem of reaching a certain level.

I would ask for help from the guild and I know I'd get some useful stuff. Our guys are very decent & helpful and we have a well stocked bank so at the very least I'd have a set of blue gear plus rank 7's, some companions and artifact gear.

I'd have to farm as much guild marks as possible but with SH Dragons, I'd be back in full Dragonflight within about 3 weeks and over that time I would around 1.8 to 2 million AD from running low level content across 6 characters.

I have leadership & alchemy maxed on 4 characters & the other 2 are currently working on it so I'd have a lot of refinement coming in but I'd dedicate 1 character to making unified elements for armor kits and getting the DF gear to elemental. As I'd need 17, it would take me 2 weeks.

I'd probably spend a day or two farming an elemental weapon - probably water, as it's a lot faster than getting twisted due to having to make 20 keys.

I estimate I'd hit 3k on one character in about 6 weeks.

Yea, I'd try my luck at contacting Customer Support (but we all know how that usually ends). So after Support not helping, I would 100% stop playing all together. Having 8 toons; 2BiS, 1 near BiS, other 5 around 3.4-3.7k. I would not do all of that again.
