Characters transfer

So,i decided to install D&D on my Ps4 because my laptop is passing away. After the installation I opened the game and found a window that talked about linking my account. I followed the instructions but when i tried to play i couldnt found any of my old characters (pc version). Am i dumb or the ps4 characters are different from the pc? So i cant continue my adventure with my warlock?

    This is explained in the FAQ section. Linking your Arc Account to your PSN info provides you with a free companion. That is what I got with linking the two. As for having access to your characters on PS4, that is possible but that would be UNFAIR given that the PS4 just launched today and a week ago if you got early access.

    Down the road I could see merger between all platforms. I know a few games that have done this and I am guessing more will, for the simple reason of cost, less servers to manage.

    So there is no way to play with my old characters in the ps4 version? :(

    Nope, even if you bought all the dlc bundles to have every race etc costume etc everything. Just have to start over and trust me that pisses me off. At least should have brought our bundle packs with us. How is that unfair? They just want you to re buy everything and rip us off.

    Don't get me wrong in gonna most likely spend another 2k into this game because I have no life.
