How about a class that uses blunderbuss?

Dwarf rifles would be so cool, small sized riflemen, think about it? I was thinking a new class that makes a warcraft 3 rifleman come to life and maybe they could be called demon hunters or something?

My main is a Dwarf GF. Everyone says,"You're a Tank." No, I'm not. Tanks have big guns (like a heavy Crossbow) with big damage [20k dmg/rank (Rank 4 - 80,000 dmg/shot)]. Heavy Crossbows have been in D&D since the early 1970s.

Do those exist in Forgotten Realms? This isn't WoW. They have to go by the lore that WotC allows them to use.
My opinions are my own. I do not work for PWE or Cryptic. - Forum Rules - Protector's Enclave Discord - I play on Xbox

I guess some of the lore from warcraft has its origins from Dungeons & Dragons... would not mind a class or a companion that uses traditional gun powder weapons, just for fun!

Gunpowder officially doesn't work, with one grandfathered exception for the Murlynd.

If I wanted Wow, id play WoW.

Putting guns in forgotten realms would be like putting lightsabers in Star Trek.

    Dwarf Techsmith.
    Mainhand: Blunderbuss
    Offhand: Tool Kit
Can create contraption, that will aid him in combat.

Something similar to the Dwarf Engineer from WARHAMMER...

I know 2nd edition AD&D had a few primitive firearms on the equipment table. I cannot say for sure on more recent rule sets though. If you were to implement that into NW you would have to make ammunition a concern and that would affect the HR as well.

D&D had Arquebus listed in the Players Handbook. Personally I would not mind seeing something like this added.

Since there is no "mana" system here, there's no need for amunition either.
