How many mounts fit in the stable?

I noticed there seem to be five slots in the stable. Is this the limit? Or will more be added as we accumulate more mounts? Or will we be forced to buy more mount slots?

    Five active slots. When you go over 5, the others go to an unspecified area. Out to pasture, or whatever, you can switch mounts from this area to one of the 5 active slots anytime. I have 10 mounts on one character from various promotions and events, so it goes at least that high.

    Edited mount count, not all were equipped.

    Considering there is a cap on things like trade bars that was unexpected there likely is a cap to pasteurized mounts. I probably will not reach it but someone will. If it exists. Every other item/currency has a limit, why not pasture mount storage?

    My question, was the pasture tested at? Did an account with 50+ mounts in pasture work OK?

    My assumption is there is no cap on mounts... maybe a soft cap... that being said, you can only purchase one of each mount type and equip it. So once you buy them all, win them all, etc, then you would be capped. If they capped it less than that, they would be limiting sales. So I highly doubt it has a cap per say...

    Andy (StrumSlinger) has every mount currently in the game on his account. He has them all added to his mount thing, I guess I'll call it "pasture" since that is what others are calling it. So I know you can have at least one of every mount in the game in there without any issues.

    The cap is one of every mount.
