Que System Broke

I like the old que system before. Now, I try to get into DEMO, we get 10 or more and it times out. Other dungeons do the same. Sometimes I get in and other times I don't. Old que, I was in every time. 8D I'm just saying. Love the game.

    It hasn't broken for me and I do like the new system since a group of friends can be instantly loaded back into things like CN with little to no effort plus your team doesn't have to accept the Q a second time meaning you can go afk at the campfire and join up with your team when you get back. c:

    I experienced this issue yesterday. Queued for Tiamat and the queue window popped up like four times (accepted every time)... Got into the instance after more than 10 minutes and it was more than half way thru.

    I totally agree on the OLD SYSTEM. Now it's literally WORST, really. Queued up for SIX different dungeons at the same time, took me 15min.+ to get into one. It was Castle Never and the group was totally broke.

    Three players including me showed up on the left screen, two were actually in the dungeon the third one was in Well of Dragons then switched to PE. Then there were two ghost players not showing up on the group screen (left side). So I left the queue and I am STUCK NOW with those other two, I abandoned the queue BUT CAN'T LEAVE NOR KICK others from my group, yes I am the group leader. Both showing up as DISCONNECTED. The hell is that??? I want a legit answer please.

    Group queuing is much smoother than solo queuing, but myself like others aren't always going to run with a group or have a group to queue with. A fix is needed for solo players. I tried Demo 4 times today and only got into one instance that had only 8 players. Dungeons and skirmishes are terrible to queue for, taking anywhere up to 20+ mins to find a group. With 2x AD coming up many players have multiple toons to run on and will be a little annoyed with the long queue times.

    New queue seems to be catered around forming a group beforehand. Solo queueing has never been the best option, now that is even more evident.

    solo queuing is indeed broken or at least partially broken. I'm getting that same thing where it will say 5/5 have accepted timing out in xx seconds and then it just times out and starts over. sometimes when it starts over it will actually start other times not so much. One time it kept going over the limit that could be in the queue for the thing I was queing for. that was weird. another time it put me in the wrong dungeon.

    This honestly is utterly ridiculous, as a Guild we queued for Siege last night (between 15-20) of us, the queue popped numerous times and then timed out. The player count was going up to things like 53/40 people accepted etc.

    After hours of trying to get a game I ended up just quitting (not sure if others in my guild tried for longer). So basically we lost an evening of playtime just waiting on a crappy broken queue system :(

    Sorry but I`m a bit annoyed as I hate time wasting. Also I think I know a possible bug here so I`ll post it in the bug section.

    I'm seeing the timing out, as well as getting out into empty zones. The new formats fine and I love being able to cue more than one group, but it does need a little tuning.

    I didn't have a 2nd que pop, instead the cue counter for demo went to 10 reset then went to 12/10, and 14/10 qued so it was very odd. Got a screenshot I'm my profile I'll oink if devs want it.

    Haven been able to do demo since the change, but other things like castle never and prophesy of madness work fine.

    I queued 15 minutes to enter a dungeon yesterday, finally got accepted and the whole thing was over; I was standin on my own in this empty level. It took five minutes to walk the whole (empty) dungeon and OK... the loot was still available... but not a whole lot of fun.

    This right here. The queue doesn't seem to like it if you go into your menus or talk to an NPC. It's like the system thinks you've pulled out of the queue but as soon as you come out of the menu it asks you to queue again.

    I tested this myself numerous times because I noticed it happening. I managed to get the queue player count to read 8/3 for a dungeon going into the dungeon. Utterly ridiculous that this wasn't tested by QA and fixed.

    As pointed out above, things like 12/10 occur because people accept the queue, then transfer or open a menu, which reloads the queue accept screen. They then accept again. Until they get a fix in, best we can do is spread the word. It works great for queues without a timer, even in pug. You have to wait a little longer if you are dps. Main thing I've noticed is it makes timed queues a pain to get into. Such as regular demo or tiamat.

    I'm not sure I understand what the issue is here. I can't queue solo for Demo to save my life since the update. It's frustrating because I've tried at least 6 times. I sit there and wait out the 4 minute start time then the time runs out and I'm dropped from the queue. Literally can't even play it unless I somehow find a team. But as a 2150k that's a fairly new 70, it's not easy. I did just fine solo queueing before the update.

    Only que that has popped for me since mod 9 is CN that most of the time is broken to hell. Wish I could do some salvage runs get into pvp since we have double AD. What a waste...

    i find that the best way to queue for a dungeon/skirmish is to stop doing things in inventory or scrolling around your start menu, every time you do this it will ask you to re-queue going over the limit like 7/5 then it will bugged out making you not able to find a queue for sometime.

    i kinda like this new queue system, thats because i can almost find a group for elol every time (queuing solo)

    Depends on the class you play. If you are a healer or tank it's very easy to solo queue. If you play dps you are going to have a hard time unless you form the group before hand.

    Here's the thing I have to say to everybody that involves what you should Q for currently, btw note the Q bug is truly only a visual bug since you can still get thrown in once everyone actually Q's up no matter the number displayed on your screen. As for what I'd say you should be q'ing for is ESoT the Q pops quickly and they're 5min runs same with Kessell's and if you have a decent team (atleast one buff class or a high dps) to do the 5min runs you'll be able to get a lot of salvage in one day.

    Perhaps all is well and quality of life has improved for prerendered groups queuing up to run thing back-to-back and such, but for non-guildies this new queue system is an utter travesty. It's a matter of fact that I haven't managed to get a single run in of Demogorgon since this new system went live, and that's 0 out of 8 or so attempts. At least 8 times I've queued up for it on the half hour and failed to be put in a group, being stranded to wait for another hour to pass in order to attempt failing to get a run in again. It's absurd. Before, the half hour would come, you queued up, you were nearly instantly in a game, maybe the group was bad but hey, you got to play. Now? Garbage. I haven't bothered to try it but apparently Tiamat is bad too.

    Ok, so what needs to be done? Well, maybe you could retain this new prerendered grouping system because apparently it's working for some, but the old "quick match" system really did get the job done before and should be reinstated as an option for things like Demogorgon, Tiamat, skirmishes, and especially events (CTA). If there isn't enough complaining now you just wait until the weekly event is a CTA and gone is the lightning fast "queue and go" experience of the past, leaving the entire userbase stuck in queues, broken groups, games that never load, unbreakable groups full of disconnected players that have given up, etc. Your hand will be forced to put it all right again so you might as well start now.
