Gwf deflection in pvp and Shadowclad never works?

theio666theio666 Member Posts: 36 Arc User
How it work? I tested it, and i looks like it work only in tab or shift, is it true? And should i try to get many deflection, is it worth it? And about Shadowclad, if i put 12 enc i will have ~100%(basic ~30 plus 70 from ench) defl chance at 7 stacks, so i will never be invisible? Also i don't want to have many defence in pvp(everybody have 130+ arm pen) so what should i choose: hp, vamp or defl?

check my pvp build, after lostmauth nerf i will be doing some adjustments, but mostly those are the stats that you should focus/
thx, i already saw it, but i just want to know, is it true what Shadowclad invis don't work if i have 30+ deflection chance? And i still don't know how you got 150% arm penetration with crit/power enchantments in atk , i have 90%+40% from Terror 12(don't want Feytouched because of gossip about downgrade it in near future).

the shadowclad invisible works and it's broken, cause it works way to often, you can freely use it on ur GWF with alot of deflect, the 80% deflect is increasing the Deflect as a stat, its not giving u 80% deflect chance, it gives you out of 1000 deflect , a 800 more deflect 800 deflect = 2% deflect chance
Wow, you really helped me! So i little reworked my calculator for damage resistance and...shadowclaw is too bad(
For example, if you have 8000 deflect(20%) and 30% from other stats(basic), so 50% in total, you gain just 1% to all defl damage: you will get ~ 70% of incoming damage without shadowclad and 69% of it with shadowclad.

Sometime cryptic will fix shadowclad and only thing that it will give to you is invisible once in 30 sec, versus +heal-reduction from negotation it really interesting question which better) (arm from negotation is not really help then everybody have 110-160% arm pen and similarly with 1-2% less inc dmg with shadowclad)

If you need i can calculate it with anouther input stats, but i don't think that it give more than 2% in any realistic stats(

i dont understand a word of what you are saying
shadowclad gives you 4% damage resistance, it's the same resistance as t.negation , except shadowclad has 8 stacks = 4x 8 = 32% damage resistance , so it's equivalent to negation at this point.
at 8 stacks it also gives 80% of 8000 deflect (20% defl chance) and that would be an aditional 6400 deflect ( 16% deflect chance) the only thing that it's not working and needs fixed is that stealth/invisibility doesn't have a 30s cooldown as it should, thats why the enchantment it's so overpowered, as to know if it's better than t. negation or t.elven we will have to see with an enchantment that is properly working as intended.

You missing 1 thing: overally you will have 0.57 stacks from shadowclaw(calculated) if you have 50% deflection chance(probability of 8 nondefl is 4%), so it doesn't really work like you saying)

So output:1st - % of inc dmg with shadowclad, 2nd - % dmg withoth shadowclad, 3rd - average number of stucks per hit, 4 - difference between 1st and 2nd.

right now on live server you can get 8stacks of it, the deflect chance it's just a trigger of proccing stealth, in other words you cannot reset the stacks of shadowclad until they hit up to 8.

lets assume 2 gwfs are fighting eachother, and both of them are attacking eachother and one of them has t.negation and the other has shadowclad it will look like this
    [] = 1 stack

t.negation : [][][][][][][][][][] = 100% uptime until he goes outside of the combat
    t.shadowclad : [][][][][][][][] DEFLECTED (and now it starts from 0 ) [][][][][][][][] DEFLECTED [][][][][][][][] DEFLECTED [][][][][][][][][]

so negation is like this |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| and t.shadowclad is like this ||||||_||||||_|||||||_||||||/

    the t.shadowclad has downtimes

Ok, i got you idea, but on Shadowclad writed: "When receiving damage each hit adds 10% to your Deflection rating and a 4% increase to your Damage Resistance for 8 seconds. This effect can stack a maximum of 8 times and expires when you successfully Deflect. ....", so if it will work as writed my math works. If not, there is math: you will win ~ 3-5% dmg reduction in total with shadowclad, but it works only if enc won't be fixed! Is on this forum CM, or i should write to arc tech?
