Now that I've gotten my SW, CW and OP to 2500 iLvl (to run edemo), I'm now working on my HR. He was my first NW character but has languished in the toolbox for a long time. I brought him out of retirement a few days ago and have enjoyed getting back into the "shoot from a distance" groove.
What artifacts are good for an Archery SW build? I currently have Lantern, Devoted sigil, Hunter's sigil and the Waters. I have access to all of the sigils as well as the Heart of the Red Dragon. I need to increase my power which is currently at 13K, crit - 61%/severity 84% and armor pen is 56%. My enchants are currently R7s (radiant/azure and one silvery). I'm stuck as to which one to replace and what to replace it with.
Now that LoL set is going to get nerfed and the Orcus set jumped 1000% since the announcement, what would you fellow HRs suggest? I don't want to switch to trapper as that isn't my play style.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I aim to misbehave

ring of brutality and deflect that gives instant 4000 power and deflect are good second choices
So it depends a lot on your gear and what gaps you have.
When playing in a party i swap out hindering for fox to have my skills up instantly again and to provide some survivability.
When i'm lazy i just use the ranged setup sume showed in one of his vid's
binding-RoA-longstriders
I run behind the target to use seeker's and the DoT it gives due to the artifact power, apply CA crit and then its just 30 sec longstriders-RoA-binding-oak and repeat
Seismic in between as it comes up
Can stay at full range without ever using at wills
Even in Stronghold dragon runs the results are great
The Artifacts i use for that:
Wheel
LM Horn
CW Sigil
Lantern
Why i use them:
Horn for the set and im at around 5k arpen atm, so it comes in handy - and 1000power are nice too
CW Sigil for 1000 power + 1000 crit - what more can you wish for
Lantern - had it and was too lazy to buy something else. Again, arpen helps me reach the pve cap, crit is always nice and CA bonus wont do any bad eighter - and also, i dont know what else to get for it
Wheel: i just LOVE it - 4000 hp are some nice add and 1000 power is just what i want
The Damage if you use fire (especially before applying CA) is quite nice
Earth is cool if you expect to take some damage (e.g. tanking 2 groups in Kessell is where i use it) or also used it to help some players with bad ping through the left track at eLoL
If you're running without a heal water sometimes comes in handy too (e.G.) if ppl screw up at the mid part of the Lostmauth fight and then restart the fight with a blink of health left
And in edemo i sometimes use wind to rush and close the demonic thingys
Why no dc sigil?
as a trapper i have the ap bar up quite fast (~ 10 sec most of the time) so i decided against it
iLevel currently 3160
Stats unbuffed 21k power / 12k crit / 5k arpen = 55% crit + 53% resistances ignored + 92 sev
fully selfbuffed = 40k power / 20k crit / 10k arpen = 76% crit + 94% resistances ignored + 114,5 sev
Decisions, decisions. . .
What enchants are you running in Offense/Defense slots? I was thinking about Brutals but they don't really start to shine until level 10 and I'm a bit poor right now.
Companion only items rank 8 Brutals + rank 7 black ice
Before that i used a mix of azures+radiant in offense /dark in defense (because i didnt have the dragon's thirst boon)
Also used fey / dragon's hoard in the utility slots before, but i just prefer the movement bonus from dark now
Currently, my SW Archer uses Lantern of Revelation (active), Sigil of the Great Weapon, Sigil of the Controller and Sigil of the Hunter. I had the Lathander set but decided to change things up. I'm still considering the Lostmauth set or the IMperial set seeing as I have the neck and belt already. Just not sold on Control Bonus as an Archer.
The most important thing in life is to be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. Always be Batman.
If you have all the sigils available, I'd probably do Lantern, CW sigil, maybe HR sigil (so far everything is free) and one more based on the artifact set you want. Later on, you can always drop one of the free ones for an expensive one depending on what you need as you continue to change your stats via gear and enchants and boons. But you cant go wrong with more power or more crit, as far as I'm concerned, and recovery might be a good way to maximize encounter damage, hard to say, I haven't done the tests yet.
