Can anyone official tell me if the special companion event will ever return?

I'm referring to this one: https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter/news/detail/9066273-earn-exclusive-companions-today! Just be interested to know, I like a few of those companions :)

    2015.... looks at year.... moves away.
    Please fix Zhentarim Warlock companion's skill "Arcane Warping" to the originally intended "Arcane Boost"

    Pure -> Transcendent Plague Fire weapon enchantment giving 80damge/20 seconds for 500k+ AD is a joke.

    I can say it is unlikely a promotional companion would not have another promotional giveaway unless it was cited to be exclusive...

    However if or when such a promotional companion would be available in another promotion would not be known until the promotion is announced.

    Well.... some of those companions have made repeated appearances.... the priestess of sune for example....

    Also... during the Winter Event... there are chances to get some of them... not all.. but some :)

    The last companion event with the slaads gave them no end of trouble and took forever to fix. The blog entry said the companions would be available to all alts on the account but we only get a few which were unbound. There was much annoyance from people who'd spent cash money and it took about 8 months (? I'm probably wrong, I've tried to block off the frustration of that whole business) before they made the companions available to all alts.
    They may be gun-shy about those events after that :/

    For the sake of some of my guildmates, I hope they bring some of the promo companions back. The Faithful Initiate is an excellent companion to have on your account, for instance.

    As for new companions, the two I'd most like to see are:

    Redcap giantsoul (try the Foundry in my sig and you'll understand why)
    Goblin archer (come on, not many critters are more fun than goblins!)
    Harper Chronicles: Cap Snatchers (RELEASED) - NW-DPUTABC6X
    Blood Magic (RELEASED) - NW-DUU2P7HCO
    Children of the Fey (RELEASED) - NW-DKSSAPFPF
    Buried Under Blacklake (WIP) - NW-DEDV2PAEP
