Connection timed out to login server after .5 seconds

Is there a live issue or is this Never winter? I just got zen from the store and suddenly after 23 lvls of no problems, I get this and can't even use my zen....anyone else?

Things I've tried:
Wireless to wired
Ports
Hard reset x2
Reset router

    Reset router a second time:
    Account server connection could not be started

    Wtf is going on?

    It happens from time to time. They'll have a server reset tomorrow. And no it's neverwinter not live.

    Been the same here for over 2 hours.

    After switching between alts a few times I can no longer connect. It boots me to title screen and asks me to select my XBox Live account.

    Also, Need for Mead gives me "Timed out connecting to GameServer." error and also boots me to title screen.

    temporary work around when changing characters:

    log out of character
    sign out of xbox profile
    sign back in
    log into game and carry on.

    You'll need to do this every time you change character.

    Signing out makes no difference now
    It seems to be when doing Demo runs that the issue triggers

    I can't log into the game full stop, all i get is connecting to log in servers

    The problem is with XBox: support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

    That status has been that way since before my issue arma. No, this is 100% Neverwinter.

    I was able to login and play for 2 hours (connection issues came and went) only to be booted late last night. Tried to get back on to face full login problems.

    Whatever the problem is, I just hope it's not gonna take forever to fix, I can only remain patient for so long with my VIP going to waste.

    Its a NWN issue as normal... but they will have the patch today and ignore it. ;)

    This is pure speculation on my part, but I think the login server went down for the count last night and the chat server was reconfgured to be a replacement for the failed login server which would explain why the chat has been down since the login issues started.
