Okay so the bear cub companion is the new OP companion at a "medioker-okay no thanks" Trade bar cost. So,
Active Bonus: On Damage Taken
"10% chance to become Outraged, increasing Life Steal Chance by 25% and Life Steal Severity by 10% for the next 6 seconds. This effect may only occur once every 30 seconds."
Applies to you as long as this companion is active.
Now what my question is, Does the increase in lifesteal chance by 25% mean, 25% of your current lifesteal stat? Or does it add another 25% to it?
For example: I have 10% lifesteal. Does the Active bonus make it 12.5% OR does it make it 35% ?

Just play this game as it is. and have fun.
If you already have great dps in pve, but terrible lifesteal and no reasonable way to stack it, get a bear.
If you already have greater than 10% lifesteal, and endless, it 's a bit superfluous imo, and would act effectively only as a periodic boost to severity, the guy above has really only bought himself a +25% LS severity buff, as his or her normal lifesteal would most likely have procced enough times to heal anyway. I suppose if you're a serious turtle tank, who doesn't often strike, but constantly gets hit, a bear would be useful as when you see it pop, you would know you had a window in which to drop your shield and do some damage to heal yourself back to full before going back into turtle mode.
Go to the combat dummy with a stopwatch, if you can damage it equal to your hitpoint total in six seconds, then you can see the bear as a 100% heal every 30 seconds.
