Therefore, as a saboteur, i've thought about will-o-wisp + cantebrous(?) mage + valindra + 5th tiranny boon... m9 campaign boon, perhaps. Why. Well, what d'you think about SB 4th rank with all those +% CC? CC-immune, yes, but SB not just CC, more "ticks" - more damage. you can always try it out, for *your own purposes*. In case of DD, party-play and so on - well, that's other thing.
Generally speaking, don't bother using Valyndra's if you can't get your CC bonus in total of over 60% or so. The 15% itself isn't noticeable in any practical sense.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
