Hi Everyone
I have recently started playing Neverwinter ( I have no clue about dungeons and instances ). I was hoping someone could maybe tell me what i need to get done and how to get somewhere in this game. I am lvl 39 at the moment.
1: What is the best build for PVP regarding stats/gears and how would i be able to acquire them. Is there anything i should do specifically to get gears.
2: I see a whole bunch of enchantments and items that people name when i was doing some Dominances something starting with a L.
3:Is this game a pay 2 win in terms of getting gear that can ONLY be aquired through the cash shop/ boutique or is it all actually farmable?
4:Should i just lvl up till lvl 70 and then restat my points because i watched some videos and saw some of my feats were put in the wrong places according to a specific type like Trapper/Combat etc..
These are just the things i want to know about the game and see if its good enough. I have only played about 2 days of this game and im already lvl 39 so im hoping that it wont take too long to get to lvl 70 lol.

2: Enchantments are simple to explain:
Weapon enchantments:
pvp - Transcendent feytouched (This is almost the best for every class, unless you plan on doing something for your party, then you can choose terror or even plague fire)
pve - Perfect Vorpal (you can upgrade your vorpal beyound it, but its not that great, better do it only if you have nothing else to upgrade)
Armor enchantmens:
If you wanna be a bully on pvp and kill noobs, you can go with a transcendent negation. It wont help you against strong gear people because those people will have the amount of armor penetration needed to surpress the DR obtained by the enchantment, but the ones who does not have a good gear and are not in a guild who can give them a good 8k armor penetration buff cannot do damage to you. That is one of the reasons pvp in this game is so HAMSTER bad and why some people say its pay 2 win.
If you are not a bully, you can go for Transcendent elven battle, its good for pvp. Or the frost enchantment, that one is also good, work kinda well against rogues, althou, as I said before, HR sucks on pvp more then any other class.
For PVE: Lesser soul forge (you can upgrade it, but its not very worth for the HR, the lesser does the job).
3: Yes, it is pay to win on pvp. But you dont need to expend hundreds and hundreds of dollars if you have patience eventually you will have all you need, but one thing that you gonna see, is that you wont be sucessfull on pvp unless you are in a strong guild and you will also not perform well as a HR either, your party will do 90% of the work on any kill or any other thing.
4: There is a free respec at lvl 60, or at least there used to be. If there is none, then respec now, because the more feats or boons you have, the more expensive becomes to respec.
5: The amount of experience needed to go from the lvl 60 to lvl 70 is equal to 2x the amount of experience needed from lvl 1 to lvl 60. So the begging is fast and good, you will lvl up very well till you get to 60, the last 10 lvls are little anoying. But a honest advice, since you only played for 2 days and you want to enjoy the pvp, start another class, HR wont give you any fun there once you hit lvl 70 and start to meet people with tenacity, they are the worst and most underpowered class and this is not going to change on anytime soon because it would be needed an entire rework of the class for it to be fair.
However i am kind of enjoying the PVP at the moment as an HR but i am planning on making a TR when there is a 2x exp event so i can get him to lvl 70 asap lol. Your information is very useful regarding the enchantments and armours needed i really appreciate the time you have taken to reply to my topic.
I wish they would do something to make HR's fun because it is a really nice class to be honest and they can be extremely strong if played correct. I actually think at the moment they are more of a support type class now that they aren't really doing alot of damage which is kind of unfortunate
You will see that the TR is a lot better and when you see someone without tenacity u can simply take him down with one hit, the only bad thing about TR is that he is a little slower to lvl up because of the lack of AOE encounters, do not let that take you down, you will se that they are a lot more rewarding then the HR expecialy for you, since u want to focus on pvp.
Hr is indeed a cool class to play, its a shame its so underpowered compared to the others, I dont see they beeing extremely strong in pvp, in pve its a different story, they have some tools to be powerfull indeed. And u are right the only good thing they bring to a party in pvp is a kind of support, in pvp to be more especific, its the fox cunning that can help your party since people dont always expect your teanmate to get the buff. The interruptions are not very usefull, but they exist and are there to be used, so yeah u can kinda of do a support job, stay out of danger, and try to help your teamates as you can with interrupts and fox cunning. Other classes can bring a lot more to the party then that even in terms of support if they want, but well, its what the HR can do. It is indeed a little unfortunate, who knows, maybe the devs will see it someday and fix the class so HR would be wanted in a good pvp party, they say they are taking closer look at pvp, we will see, but I would not get mutch hope about it because of the xbox with the lack of content they have, HRs are still somehow powerfull there and a consistent part of the meta, so I think we will only start to see the changes HRs so desperatly needs once xbox starts to catch up with the pc.
I'm glad I could help you, hope to see u in game : )
1) proccing heal
2) proccing roots, which proc cooldown reduction which proc even more roots
3) lostmauth
It is not horrible to use it on pvp, but its effectivines on your damage on pvp will be lower then with the T. Fey because of the drastic crit damage reduction tenacity provides. Fey would provide near 25% more damage then vorpal does
Alternatively, if you can't get that high, forget it, stack crit high as possible instead and take the extra stun on crit-root for perma stun, that way, although you won't kill much, you'll really HAMSTER them off.
