Strongholds costing and Masterwork Professions.

It is obvious that it is time to lower the costs to get to Guild Hall rank 12. The guilds who have reached that level are far too few to make use of Masterwork Professions. There need to be ways to gain vouchers for Surplus Equipment, Astral Diamonds, and Gems. The AD cost alone to get to 12 is beyond the reach of most players and guilds. Please lower the costs of ALL aspects of Strongholds and Masterwork Professions. Make these things available to everyone. If enough people can get Rank 12 and do the quests, perhaps the prices of resources can come down to Earth. As of now, most will not bother continuing this process much longer once the cost is fully digested.

    Well, i was hoping for Strongholds costs reduction, when they released Strongholds to the Xbox...
    I was also hoping for getting the former rAD slots in Leadership filled with Strongholds Vouchers, when they changed Leadership...
    Overall just two small things, that could have helped players to build/upgrade their Strongholds a lot.

    But judging by the last changes being made, it looks like they're dead set on increasing the grind with every update even more.
    And the official player feedback thread here in the forum feels deserted at this point.

    Anyway, it would be nice to see some improvements here, but i'm not holding my breath for anything to actually happen.

    Well, beside the blogs around new modules, there was not much communication between Devs and players anyway.

    Sure you get some informations presented here and there in a few threads/posts, but there is no real discussion going back and forth, that would at some point result into updates/patches.
    Or if something the players suggest can't be done, then it would at least be nice to know the reason why...

    There's so much player feedback in the official thread, they could start with collecting the player ideas, and then come up with a Dev feedback update per month, that would be followed by (small) patches in the coming weeks.

    That should leave enough time for new modules and the blogging around those too.

    Well i totally agree Stronghold is expensive!
    I just started my own guild i dont mind spending some time upgrading it :)
    But all campagin currencies 30k+ and surplus and gems for first farm when you just started and still need to recruit is hard:)
    But it is going good just will take time :)

    You won't have to "time" and ad to upgrade your guild if you start one from scratch. The key idea of this stronghold change is elitism. A lot of players are going to leave the game every time when new and better BiS items come into the guilds only through the highest ranked guilds. Small guilds are forced to merge due to less and less players.

    This kind of elite guild idea is often seemed in many mmorts, and unfortunately, the average lifespan of such games is 1year.

    I don't think they are going to make guild upgrading any easier. They can only get harder as both the developers and the elite guilds want players to spend real money. They don't care about the ones who only wish upon a star to grind their life solely on their guilds. Otherwise, one thing they can do is to let solo players or the ones from low ranked guilds to obtain all the BiS items currently only obtainable from top ranked guilds from solo or non guild activities. But don't put too much hope on it as even they they do so, the chance is you will not be able to get even one piece of such BiS item in 2 years.
