Title says it all and most players already understand how weak SW is in PvP. Not only that, but the only viable PvE build is the SB Damnation build, which is awful for PvP. So a SW must either be spec'd pure PvP or pure PvE.
List of things to fix:
- Everything.
And of course, matchmaking. Who is in charge of this? Have they been fired yet? If so, has it been reassigned to anyone competent?

There are some good SW's in pvp and the more experienced ones will usually team up with a tank and use them as body blockers. Really good ones don't even need to do that.
Edit: Matchmaking actually does pretty much what it's told to do in that in tries to balance class types across teams. E.g. it'll count a DC and Pally as the same type, same usually with HR and TR. What it doesn't appear to do is account for item level. I know a few people who are sure it does and they remove their pvp armor whilst queueing in a hope of getting an easier match.
I've never found that to be the case as I often find myself in teams where at least 2 members have 0 tenacity and 1 other will have like 500. The opposition of course will generally consist of pvp guild members - lol.
