Since getting my companions to rank 20, their cap, and doing level 3 and 4 missions in SCA I've been getting mostly copper as a reward, not items hardly. When I do get items, it's nothing better than when I was doing lower level missions. Was hoping for something better than this. Is this working as intended or am I having some extremely bad luck?

For some reason each tier is not only higher difficulty but as if you were at a different character level: Tier 3 drops Seals of the Lion, Tier 4 drops Seals of the Pegasus, etc. At Tier 6 you will get Seals of the Unicorn and level 60 potions and professions resources.
But the reason for running Tier 6 is the companion gear -- and nowadays, the rAD.
also with companion gears, i had asked Devs to change and stop the items going back into your bags when switching the "pets". wish they stay with companions just like they kept thier runes. (please!!! devs!).
it get annoying to find and placing companion gears, tired of moving them around. these are unsalvageables and no values. the good ones are hard to find for specific gears for specific pets we have.
any other rolls on 19 and less, he a no-show even you win and beat dungeon and the boss. it is very elusive pet.
i had a 20 almost a year ago, but my pets wasnt able to get deep.
my opinion with Gateway, they need to add new rewards, Companion Tokens would be nice to get, i am tired of those "XP scrolls/books" and most of my pets are capped currently and need promotions to next ranks.

my advice, if you get Black Dragon dungeon pop up and if the roll not at 20, dont go in, it will stay for weeks until you land a 20, then go for it.
The only time I got a Lightfoot Thief it was the Witch end boss, I forget her name. It's a random, very low chance -- nothing to do with end boss or what dice you rolled (before playing).
(and mostly because people are too stupid to try to get what they're worth)
It's streaky, like everything else "RNG": I can go two complete runs without any companion gear, then get 2 rings in one run. The AD reward varies a lot too, from 250 to 2500 rAD, possibly more.
You don't really need much gold, though. Even squishy, low item level, bad players should have a large surplus by the time they hit 70, and when they finally start running low SCA's are a simple way to replenish gold stock. Sell all of the dumb items it gives you (seriously, Cryptic, realize that you raised the level cap to 70 and fix all of the stuff that assumes the cap is 60) and pocket your epic piles of literally dozens of silver.
