I understand that the game attempts to assign players from the same guild into the same side in Siege PVP.
In a situation whereby a guild is unable to form complete parties, I'm wondering how would the distribution pan out? Here's an example to illustrate my point:
Guild X has 13 players who are keen to participate in Siege PVP. They formed 3 parties, A, B and C (C comprising of only 3 members from the guild).
Would it make a difference in the odds of C getting onto the same side as A and B in Siege PVP if:
a) C queues for Siege as a trio (2 pugs will join their party as assigned by the game); versus
b) C invites 2 more friends from other guilds to top up the party?
In scenario (b) above, would it make a difference whether the 2 'top-up' players are from the same guild (both from Guild Y) or are from different guilds (one from Guild Y, the other from Guild Z)?
Greatly appreciate your advice and sharing, thanks in advance.

Sometimes I feel like the queue system has had a bit too much to drink.
