With regards to leadership and character slots

I'd like to suggest the following change to the amount of ad that can be refined in a day. You currently give 2 slots to new players, for a total of 48k refined ad a day. Instead of having the ad be per character, make it an account wide pool like zen. Each additional character slot you buy adds 2k of refining potential per day.

This makes the game more friendly to players running multiple characters and provides a benefit to buying more character slots. It also creates a much smaller divide between the people playing a lot compared to the people playing less.

Or they need to reimburse people who purchased extra slots since they have now rendered them useless.

the reason for it is very straightforward. They seem to have trouble balancing ad costs for players who have access to 48k ad (2 character slots) versus 6 character slots (144k ad) compared to 50 slots. (1,200k)

so how do you suggest they alter the combination of playing the game, using leadership and multiple slots. Since using leadership on gateway is not considered to be playing the game to a group of people and they grow resentful of it ?

I have more than 10 characters. I prefer doing as much character maintenance as possible on gateway so that my large friend list is not constantly spammed by my logging on and swapping between toons.

They want to kill leadership armies generating AD. You can still use the leadership army to generate RP, so not a total lost.

Yea, and what is there to reimburse? People still have the account slots. They were not sold for the purpose of leadership armies. Just because people can no longer use them for leadership is not Cryptics problem.

They weren't sold for leadership armies? Yeah right. Who could play 50 toons?

You understand that each character has a 24k RAD limit. You can earn and refine up to 24k per toon, so buying character slots technically gives your account an additional 24k RAD per toon limit.

Not anymore they won't. Unless you have countless hours to spend in game every single day on your alts just running dungeons/skirmishes/pvp/foundry to get that 24k RAD. I don't and many don't as well. It will be a horrendous drop in AD we can get and just make the game plain not worth even playing anymore. You still need the same massive amount of AD to level everything and the only decent way to get it will be gone. They didn't add any new way to make AD, they just took it away. The botters will benefit, those that have millions of AD saved won't be affected much for the time being ( but it will disappear fast because no one else will have AD to spend now ), and the rest of us trudging along trying to level up anything will see it is pointless and be even more frustrated than we are now and leave. Taking our money with us.

Soltasword is exactly right. If The announcement to the leadership changes included the announcement of additional ad generation elsewhere in game, or a reduction of ad cost in game, then there would not have been the all the raging in the forums. Their lack of media savvy is highlighted by this.

What makes nwo so different than its other games that it is having these botting and in-game currency issues?

NWO is quite an unstable piece of work, isn't it? There is a major change, either announced, written in the patch notes, or just slid in under our eyes--every 2 to 3 weeks.

In theory, that is for a player to play all the character combo.
    8 class x 2 paragons x 3 sub-class is 48.
