Hi,

I know many among guilds are also experiencing a hard time to track down who are and who aren't donating among to its members. This feature should really have to be added on for everybody's sake.

I agree and disagree with this I agree because would be good to know but disagree on grounds some people don't have the resources to donate a huge amount and I see this being used to penalize those who do not have a lot to give and special treatment to those who do. then again its easy to figure out who has been donating a lot when they start buying guild gear as that HAMSTER is expensive and requires a lot of donations.

I personally dont need it since Im in a small guild where we trust each other, but it may be needed overall, especially for bigger guilds, where donations are mandatory.

Why? Who cares if someone is donating or not.. Doesn't mean they are not good guild members. I don't have a lot of stuff to give to my guild in SH I am only 69 and need a lot of that stuff for ME so I can become stronger.

All you people want is a way to kick people who are not donating and that is sad and shows what type of person you really are.

It's not for discriminate people but for track who does nothing at all. Then any guild will follow its own path, there will be casual guilds that will completely ignore to the most rigid that will require more activity.
You can join then the guild that follows your ideals.

Yet it is for discrimination purposes if you are going to use it that way and that is sad.. Grow up

Which is discriminating against those who for whatever reason do not make donations to the coffers. I am in a guild so I can chat to people when the fancy takes me, offer help and suggestions to other players when I can and to occasionally ask for a bit of help completing quests/lairs that I cannot solo. I'm not in one for any other other reasons. A system like this will be used as reason/justification to kick/evict or bully players who do not contribute whatever minimum donation is deemed a requirement to remain a member. If the guild I am in starts to do anything along these lines, I will leave of my own free will.

This is why giving guilds more than they had at launch is always a bad thing. It always ends badly.

And yet again "Help they gonna discriminate poor old me". Currently u need to do 3-4 heroics a day to reach influence cap. In group it takes 20 min at worst. U cant be bothered? Than what are u even doing here? Why should others do all the work for u? No one said anything about min donation or any reqs at all. But 20 min of time + 1-2 dungeon runs or 3 dailies a day isn't much. An instrument to track down ppl who do nothing at all surely be useful. For large guilds especially. Surely those who wont do a thing wont be able to buy gear later but the reward for donating glory was bugged for a few days allowing for easy 30k guild marks. Also there are boons. Still afraid of sh tyrants? Than find a friendly guild with ppl u trust.

-1 not needed

If you need a donation log, your guild is in a bad shape.
You already have ranks to distinguish betwenn players who contribute to the guild and who are not.

If you need a ladder by the system to rank yourself, go play PVP

It is truly terrifying that people like you can never see how guild rewards like this destroys a games community every single time.

As said elsewhere I would like to have a top 5 donaters (lvl5-59,60-69,70) list makeing this list will help rewarding contributers and it might lead to players trying to make the top 5 which will also be good.

This list will not aid in kicking players(unless you only have 5 players per category ... in that case it will be dumb to kick a player)

FORCING the majority of your player base to play 4 mod old dungeons and trial will have a bad result on player base

Yeah right its guns not ppl who kill. Its really terrifying how in 21th century some ppl still just cant read. What guild rewards? What system to rank whoever? Donation log simple & plain just to see if ppl actually doing anything or just sit on their butt spamming the chat. If some1 in some guild really implies a ranking/reward system based on donations that will be his/her own choice that has nothing to to with suggested instrument. We ask for log nothing more. Healthy community cant be destroyed that easily. Personally i don't care who donates what i run with ppl i know & trust. But i wont argue with the right of others to have such an instrument to sort out leechers or use it in any other way they see fit. Don't like it? Don't joint such guilds.

People complaining that it would be discrimination against poor players are overlooking that the most important donations -- influence, heroic shards and adventurer's shards -- come from playing the game, not from being rich.

I don't care if guildies contribute AD or gems, but I can't run SH HEs 50 times a day for influence by myself: I need everyone to do their Builder, Ranger and Master of Coin dailies to upgrade the Stronghold.

And it would be helpful to see who isn't running SH dailies, because then you can talk to them individually. I'm not going to require everyone to run every SH daily every day, but the guild hall can't get upgraded by my alts alone.

So you can start ejecting people willy-nilly because you are "GUILDGOD" if they aren't working as hard as you think they should they should?

That happened once in real life, supposedly. And the Big Guy upstairs threw down a bunch of curses upon the land. And then the GUILDGOD was forced to let those people go and he ended up being hated and had nothing left. But if that's who you want to be, so be it.

What people keep failing to realize is that if you are in a large guild and don't happen to be on when the coffer empties, you are screwed. You can't even make a donation if you wanted to because everyone else has already donated the max. So, something like this would be completely misleading, and would lead to nothing but bad blood.

I know I had to wait three days before I could even empty my two full bags of vouchers, passing up loot in the process. Now if a tool like this was in place, it would appear as if I was just leeching of the guild for three days, which obviously wasn't the case.

If they were going to make something like this, then they would have to limit how much each person can donate so it gives everyone a fair chance to contribute without looking like leeches.

I think's there is a tool yet... if you don't donate you will get 0 guild marks. 0 guild marks mean no gear for that player. So, if he don't donate, who care about him, he will not get nothing from the stronghold ^^

if you have to defend the discrimination point so strongly then it is definitely a bad idea the more I think about it the more I would have to say no. it will lead to epeen stroking and discrimination even the defenders in there defense of the topic in this thread

have already started and shown that they intend to discriminate by making statements about people being lazy not putting in the 20 min it takes to get one item. cause that's how its starts. first you tell them there lazy because they didn't put in that 20 min today then its because they didn't earn enough shards this week they haven't put in there share of astral diamonds so on and so forth.

I have thought it thru and this is a very bad idea.

I don't think it can be seen as discrimintation if it is in the guild rules. If you don't agree to the rules move to a guild that you fit to do not intentionally break guild rules and then be against the fact that guild leaders will be able to see you are breaking the rules.

That being said. Our guild rules state you can have 0 donations. Donations are optional and Contributing to the improvement of the guild will be rewarded.
This system will help us reward contributers.

I believe there SHOULD be a donation log. However, the guild leader should be able to select a global public or private setting. In addition, the contributor should be able to select "anonymous" of they choose their donation to be private. This would make many guilds happy.
