why is the game so slow and unresponsive within the last few months

Why does it now take sometimes as much as 10 seconds for the interact option to appear when trying to get quests from the NPC's / pick up items etc and most especially when trying to leave a zone . It takes forever sometimes to leave your current zone .

    Rubberbanding in DR and with Dragon Runs, have fast connection.. game must improve on connection definitely.
    Suggestion in DR.. remove the undead charging the gate.. there is rly no need for that.

    Server lag and damage due to latent animations and powers that leave residue behind in the instances. Prism, Astral Seal, Negation, etc....

    The servers had an emergency crash a few weeks ago... it was due to a large number of small errors being shoved into large bundles and tossed at the servers. Those errors were calculations and similar bugs that are thriving in game.​​

    If true, then either you're psychic or a member of the dev team. If it sounds-true, then you're just speculating like the rest of us.

    If this theory was true, there'd be a noticeable difference in performance before and after the Thursday server reset. However, I've not noticed any such pattern.
