Contribution Target for the guild

targlocktarglock Member, NW M9 Playtest Posts: 61 Arc User
Hello,

Once you set one of the buildings as Contribution Target, there's no way to cancel it, just move it to another building.
is it suppose to be like that?

Thanks.

You can move to a different building as Guild Contrib Target, but there is limited depending on how high you have gotten your guidl hall. At level one guild hall you only have 2 plots, 1 market place and guild hall able to be upgraded. Hopefully this answers your question. If not let me ask this, what do you mean Cancel? The resources are never taken out of the coffer till is it stated "BUILD NOW" or whatever the button states to build. It is not set as each building set with different resource requirements will allow for it to consume those resources when being set as Contribution Target. Hopefully this makes sense, if not please let me know.

    Thanks

Yes, its supposed to only be changed because no resources are lost when you do change it.
Only the resources needed to complete the task are consumed, so going to the maximum value is just helping get the next structure/level done, and changing task just moves the resources to the new task.
    Obsidian Moonlight - Paladin
    Obsidian Oath - Warlock
A whole lot of other Obsidian toons as well.

    Thanks for the replies.

wraithgore, by cancel i mean that when you start to build your stronghold, there's no target, once you choose a building as a target, you can't return to the "no target" status (maybe you don't need to return to it anymore?)

obsidiancran3, you basicly say that if i put a building as a target, people will be able to donate only the resources needed for the targeted building? once the needed resources for the bulding are enough, people will not be able to donate any more?

No What obsidiancran3 is saying is that You can donate up to what the coffer will take for example the max diamond or AD it can take is 304 at Tier 1 so you can max out the donations as there is a donation points you can earn and thus be able to buy gear or items in your market place. I found there is a cap to this Donate Guild Points of 30K at present. Basically if your Coffer fills up its fine you just have to know where to put the resources to. Meaning which building is best bet for making next, whether it's a Guild hall upgrade or such. But it does not mean that switching a Target will loose resources AT ALL. it just means you changed the route in which you will build your stronghold.

And you shoudl always have a target as it makes the guild continue to grow the buildings. Please note that there are 10 Tiers to Each Plot - Millabout etc.... ANd there are 20 Levels to the Guild Hall at this time. So to state a no target is really a moot point unless you have a huge coffer at level 15 and not enough resources to keep going.

    Hopefully this helps
    Thanks,
