Trans Terror, if you really want to be cheesy. There's a build totally centered on inducing Terror roots + smokebomb which Grizzly and some TRs influenced by him use. It's a decent build except the fact they abuse T.Terror and its abnormally frequent rooting.
T.Vorp, if you're one of those slimeballs who plick CoS from permastealth, along with stupid stuff like SO + LostM set bonus.
If you're a Scoundrel, which IMO the only viable combat option left for that path being of my own design, then T.Fey fits better since in therms of pure resilience/DR Scoundrels are a bit tougher than the rest.
Its mainly a subjective thing, and there really isn't a correct answer to this.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
I use Trans. Lightning because I think lightning is cool. I'm serious. I actually do think it it works rather nicely. Honestly, it's my lack of a viable armor enchantment that is losing me fights. Until the Barkshield fiasco gets sorted, I'm screwed. If I had one of the currently effective armor enchantments, it wouldn't matter too much which of the better weapon enchantments I used.
T.Lightning's cool. Beat on one tank with DF and watch as it destealths every single enemy TR in the near vicinity within 3 seconds Extremely useful in multi vs multi fights when you need to flush out enemy TRs.

Thanks for all the replies, appreciate it. I am WK running TVorpal atm. I really like the sound of the TTerror build - are there any links to builds? I really can't find too much on it?

At this time I believe that so many TRs are doing their own thing, just to enjoy playing a TR again, that there aren't any set builds. Well, other than a couple of interesting builds for M6.
Atwil "At" - Tiefling TR / Saardush - Black Dragonborn GWF / White - Tiefling OP
T. Terror is worthless dps wise. Against tanks you will get max 10% more bouns dmg. While TR's and other squishies have like 2-3k Defense max which is about 3-3.5% dmg resistance.

Stick with vorpal...
All tests show vorpal dominates VS trans negation

I hate paying taxes! Why must I pay thousands of dollars in taxes when everything I buy is taxed anyways!

It's not for the defense debuff. It's for the roots. The root induced by T.Terror is quite long in duration, and procs a LOT -- certainly seeming a LOT more often than once every 30secs. This is why some builds, like Grizzly's for example, emphasize on hitting the root, dropping smoking bomb, and then dicing away freely for two full DFs.
People think DF is weak in mod6, but depending on how its setup, it hits really hard -- for example, using R.Dragon glyphs + Oppressive Darkness adds around in total +1k damage as piercing to every flurry of attacks made. When this is combined with Executioner feats involved with damage increase, or Scoundrel feats associated with damage buffs against CCd targets, it does krapton of damage even to negation-assisted BiS GFs, GWFs, and Palys(if you can land it while the tempHP is off). DCs as well.
In essence, T.Terror is another one of those cases. It is a single enchantment that lets any newbie or skill-less person do EVERYTHING I've worked so hard to develop, practice, and tweak to perfection. Being able to hit an opponent with DF in actual PvP combat is serious business, and in the olden days one's proficiency with DF was one of the marker's of TR skill.
Nope, not anymore in mod6.

If it proc more often it's probably bugged and may get fixed anytime.
