Dragon's Hoard Enchantment update: worse

The Dragon's Hoard Enchantments haven't been working right in many zones for a while, but one place they did work was in the daily quests from the druid in PE, the ones where Minsc and Boo accompany you. This was great, because it gave me some doable dailies with the ability to collect some RP items. I saved them and was very happy with the improvements to my gear during this double RP event.

However, they seem to now be broken. I just ran both quests and did not receive a single RP item from my DH enchants. I have various levels (still pretty low) of DH enchants in all my Utility slots, with a total 7% drop rate. With all the enemies in these two daily quests, I'd normally walk away with several RP item drops. But today, nada. Seems too coincidental to blame bad RNG luck.

I know DH Enchantments have been discussed (and complained about) before, and I don't want this to come across as more of the same. I just wanted to add that the recent patch seems to have broken them in an area where they used to actually work. Please look into this and fix them, as these enchantments are one of the few ways many of us can effectively level our artifact gear.

    I have 12%, and haven't received any either. May remove them and put some dark's back in. Maybe those will work.

    Hmm. I wonder if they are totally broken now? Guess everyone needs to pay attention and post their findings.

    My findings are in-line with sylvrstorm. There is another thread about this issue in the General Discussion PC forum.

    Nuked all my RP yesterday. Played for 4 hours in dungeons/skirmishes NO bound RP in my inventory today. DHE is now entirely broken.

    Entirely broken i'm surprised you guys got anything I've run multiple dungeons/skirmishes and didn't get any RP today... how many hours am I supposed to farm to get an hour worth again?

    Silly Skitzo, you're clearly not meant to farm anymore. Given the ninja nerfs in the past, we're clearly meant to take this as a subtle hint that the only farming is to come from our wallets. Now, be a good little player, open your bank account, and buy enough Blood Ruby packs for the PWE CEO to build a mansion out of other, smaller mansions...

    I do get some drops. So it's not entirely broken. But no idea if it's worse than it was or not.

    I get a couple here and there, mostly pearls. In 3 hours of running various dungeons I'll usually have maybe 4-5 items now. I'm really disappointed that Cryptic went from "maybe we took it to far" to "corporate says no more free stuff, turn the nerf dial to 11".

    If they're really intending to change these enchantments that drastically, they should change the text on them. They still say percentages that simply aren't happening. So there's a bug, and they should either enable them dropping again, or at least be up front about the change (if the new way is WAI) and indicate it on the item's text. Like say "0.01%" instead of "1%". Or if they just think they were granting too much RP through these enchantments, then just make them drop more pearls and less of the better items. That would suck, but would at least be clear, and would be true to the enchantment's description.

    I don't see any change in the infrequency of RP drops from DHE. I even got a Black Opal yesterday. On one toon I will get 3-4 drops but then on another toon nothing for the same content, which has been my experience for some time. Having said that, I don't do pve for extended periods of time so I haven't really experienced the 'no drops' after a time frame of playing.
    Our pain is self chosen.

    Odd, I stopped paying attention to DHE since the nerf because it was only going to annoy me. Anyway the way it was working is you would get all your procs in about an hour and they would turn off. So in a new server day just now I killed like a 100 mobs out in wod, and got 1 peridot. So they work, kind of. They obviously aren't respecting their tooltip in anyway anymore. 10% chance for what its worth.

    Just adding a note to this thread I started because I've found that Dragon Hoard Enchantments are now working again in the elemental daily quests I mentioned in my original post. Thanks for the bug fix!

    You just suffered from Bad RNG apparently, they don't work nearly well enough and need to be revamped entirely.

    Sounds more like bad luck than anything else. The DHE have been nerfed into the ground - fewer drops and of way lesser quality. I'm surprised people are still paying attention to these.
