My personal favorites are Jubilee, Winter, Summer in that order. Then everything else. Regardless of which is favorite for each person we cannot deny that they are all generally fun and a nice change from the day-to-day grind.

I participated in the Summer Festival last year for the transmutes and it was fun but I don't think I'll be doing that again this year as all I want are the Favours of Sune for the mounts, which doesn't require doing anything other than speaking to the NPC once a day.

I am just running it to get sunite transmutes for my Sunite OP. Other than that I am just collecting the favors for the water horse, even though I already have a purple mount unlocked.

I actually like the look of the baker's costume set, (the coat & pants, anyway). The water horse is interesting, and I'll probably pick it up on one character, but in the long term, it's just another R1 mount that'll sit in storage...

I did the Summer Festival and the Winter Festival the first year they were offered. Both were excessively grindy and rather lacking, although I will say the Summer event was much more enjoyable than the Winter event. The Winter event was FAR too grindy for the rewards, although the summer event has its grind (petals), it wasn't over the top with mindless dbl-click dbl-click dbl-click.
The problem with both of these events ia that they have beautifully designed and detailed areas that house the most mindless of repetitive tasks that it's not even funny. If they would just put little more thought into the content of these festivals, they could be rather spectacular. Instead, we hear people saying "I had a blast doing the same three tasks on 5-minute timers for 10 days straight..."

I'd love to see something akin to the Protector's Jubilee skirmish, but set in the Summer festival zone - your team zones in, and has to respond to several different threats - it could be trolls, or kobolds, or maybe even chicken rustlers...
Then you could have a reward chest at the end, with different tiers of reward, based upon how your team performed. Said chest could even have a tiny chance of granting one of the transmutes, companions, or mounts, in addition to some assorted event currencies/consumables.

So far... not a fan. The area has been too laggy to enjoy. Considering that this would be my first one, there is a learning curve. Not to mention I am not really interested in anything that is being offered as a reward. So I will leave the water-balloon throwing, pig wrangling and troll smashing... to those that enjoy it.
I do love the color that they turned the skies above the area.
Add a skirmish or 2 and then I would change my feelings on this festival. I was actually looking forward to participating because my guildies praised past Summer Fests.

Otherwise just taking all my other alts to pick up the daily favor for the water horse. The events at the grounds isn't very fun to me.
