So is the matchmaking totally random or is there some logic behind it? When my buddy and I queue we seem to have way more losses than when each of us queue individually. Now maybe the two of us together just drags the team down, not sure. Or are we getting more coordinated teams because we are in a party?

    the parties larger than 3 almost always get put up against other groups

    With a group of 2 you most likely won't be put up against a team.

    actually, on a group of two it is preferrable that you are qued against a group of 2 also. Which sometimes put you against a group of 2+a group of 3 together.
    solo q is mostly putting you against solo individuals also. Of course, if there are no matches, you will be put against 2,3,4,5 men premades.
