Unbinding companion

It is possible to unbind companions to use them on other characters/sell them?
If it is, how it's done?

    As far as I know, there is no way, unless someone is using an exploit to do so . . .

    If one looks at very very old information from the beta stage of development of Neverwinter, one would find a mention of unbinding companions. However, this was decided against. Old tooltips you could find screenshots of might mention buying unbind tokens for AD. I think at one point there might have been mention of "trading" companions across your account in such a fashion.

    But the devs have stated several times that unbinding companions will never be in the game. If I was industrious enough, I'd link to a post stating such. Alas, I am lazy. You can search the forums though, and find plenty of information on this.

    That was what I thought too but every time I see them again a few minutes later they were bound. This is an unbinding bug. :)

    ...wellllll, yeah. So what, some other char equipped them, doh - or picked them up if BoP. :^D
