Dread Ring and Greater Marks

When visiting the Phantasmal Fortress today, I received a Greater Mark of Stability from the coffer. It's supposed to be a chance of Greater Mark of Union in this mini-dungeon.

It's the first time I notice this. Is it some novelty I missed from some recent patch notes ?

Edit : I tried again with another character, and, still in the Phantasmal Fortress, I got a Greater Mark of Power.

    NO they are not random, it is random as far as getting a green blue or purple mark however the mark type - union, stability, power are static for each lair.

    I too got a greater mark of power from phantasmal fortress instead of a union so clearly the greater mark table is broken and giving some random marks instead of the fixed one its supposed to. The blue and green ones seem normal as they give the appropriate its the purple marks that seem to not be following suit.

    This needs dev attention.

    Same here. I got greater mark of power instead of union. If they keep it like this nobody will ever do PF and DS again as DF is the easiest and the shortest (imo)

    I havent gotten a greater marks in weeks, thought I was bugged out, only getting lessers and regulars, constantly.

    I have not got any purple marks from dread ring mini dungeons for over a week. I do the quest daily from knox. Am i missing something? I've been getting greens and blue marks only, 1 each day. Where do I find the purple greater marks of union, stability, and power? Only place I can get it now is auction house???

    Its WAI. Read the new dread ring schedule guys. In weekends the lairs can give ANY of the 3 mark types (power,stability or union). They updated it and changed it this way last patch i think. During week thou each lair gives its usual mark type as before, only in weekends its random.

    OK, the weekend description can indeed be understood this way.
    Complete a Lair of your choice to earn any quality Mark of Stability, Union or Power.
    But the mission text when talking to Knox wasn't updated and I have not seen this mentioned in any patch note ...

    What's the point in making it more random ? It will only make the most used marks (like the union one) worth even more, and the less used (like Stability) worth even less.

    And for those not getting any greater marks, you can only insist. You have almost equal chances to get uncommon, rare or epic ones.

    Got a greater mark of power from the dread spire (or however the union mark place is called), can confirm it's completely messed up.

    i am finally getting greater marks i like it.
