Yea but it's not a DoT, its a pretty big hit (even at 50%). But then again you could have dodged the original infliction... So I'm on the fence. How is it currently in the PC version?

PC version is as it is now. Just as the tooltip says.
Its only a big hit however if the TR is able to sustain damage on you in that 6 seconds. I think that's what some people forget. As long as you avoid damage(if possible)after that first hit, the SoD proc is near to nothing.
Most of the people I have encountered so far in PvP though don't move out of the way for Duelist Flurry. Even if I get a <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> hit on Lashing, or it gets dodged, I've been able to more than double, sometimes triple the damage during that 6 seconds because a large majority of players aren't avoiding Duelist Flurry. So it just hits like a truck. People aren't realizing what is happening to them is the problem. I've noticed much more so if the other team has a cleric. They feel they can just stand and tank all my damage because they have a healer, or 2 healers. But loading up all that damage from DF into a Demise proc is very, very hard to heal.
You know what's sad, is they fixed the color of shield for CW to blue for male characters ( it was bright pink ) but won't fix the crit glitch.

The last few days I've noticed a ton of TR's using the glitch too, kinda sad. I'm sure some of them do not realize it, and some of them were able to get DoT weapon enchants via boxes, but the majority I'm afraid knows and uses it to their advantage.
So with the disheartening strike dot I'm not sure if it's really an exploit I only notice the double tick if SoD kills someone not when it ticks and they servive

Then its extremely buggy. I'm hitting the dummys and its exactly 50% dmg on every hit.

Nope your right, its still in effect.
I did some reading though and its only happening with a DoT based weapon enchant.
Thats why I noticed with my Bilethorn, but not my Vorpal.
The bug is cheap though and I like my Vorpal better. So my SoD is working properly, because I'm not using a DoT Weapon enchant.
It's not exactly necessary for rogues to function.
Also can stack 6 shadows of demise, highest I ever got. (300%) is still possible.

If you are using a DoT bases weapon enchant than yes. Plaguefire, bilethorn, flaming etc.
