All the joking and qq'ing aside, the changes made in mod 6 appear to be made in order to provide a better end game in coming modules. I'm not necessarily going to spend any money or lose any little bit of credibility I have defending the indefensible, but that is the bright side: the future of Neverwinter.
I think it would do the game A LOT of good to get some early indication of what we have to look forward to. New classes, new content, new pvp stuff. Anything.
The thing with Cryptic is: Always keep your expectations very low, so you don't get disappointed/false hopes in the end.
Ok ya, low expectations, money hungry greedy so on and so forth. But I still bust out q>e>r in quick succession coordinated with my aiming cursor on a build I put a lot of thought into and it still gives a satisfying crunch to whatever I am hitting. This is still good action combat. The other players are still funny. The storylines are still comically stupid and cheesy, so regardless of anything else- to me- there is still an enjoyable experience to be had.
We all just had to drink some REALLY NASTY medicine with mod 6. It will only get better from here. No high expectations, just playing the game in a way that is enjoyable to each of us. Hate what they did with one class and I am sure you will love what they did with another.
So with that gigantic grain of salt, I am looking forward to what is coming in the future and am curious as to what others think we may be heading into (or out of lol).
Slowly grind all my alts through to their ArtiWeapon and ArtiOffHand. And wait for Mod 7, and all the while hope that the decline in player population isn't that sharp that PWE pulls the line on the game...
Also, I'll spend more time in other games.
Been a sales rep for a few years, and one gem of wisdom from that time is "Gaining a customer is long and tedious work. Losing a customer can be done in a few seconds."

Spending time in other games is a huge boost to this one I think. Too much time here and people feel like their lives are messed up when the devs make a big change that affects their main class. Weather is breaking in the north anyways, time to start the hikes and bonfires and trips to the beach anyways.
I'll do about the same as you. Love what they did with a couple (a few?) classes and will work on different builds, level some alts and see what the future brings. I genuinely hope it is something worth investing the time and money in.

One of the many Control Wizards that misses Shard Of The Endless Avalanche. RIP Shard (Beta-Mod3)
