SCA dice rolling

I occasionally do the daily reward dice rolling on sword coast adventures (where is rolls the d20 and gives you a bag or book or blue item) on my main character. I created a new character recently and it doesn't get the dice roll when I pull of up the SCA page. Do I have to do one of the sword coast adventures lairs at least once to trigger it? Or is it something else I am missing?

You need to have at least 4 companions and possibly complete or skip the tutorial (or maybe there's a minimum level required).

I'd also like to point out that one of the blue items you can get is the accursed lv59 necklace that also dropped in WoD.

Once you complete the SCA tutorial's first mission and get your Damaran Shepherd, you'll then be able to do the die roll once a day. However, you won't get a die roll on the same day as unlocking it. You have to wait till the next daily reset at 5:00am EST. You don't need any companions for the die roll, or the tutorial. Temp companions will be added to your tutorial if you don't have any.
