    So you *could* interpret the poll results so far as saying "Almost two thirds of players want more artifacts"

    That's the trouble with statistics. They can be stated so many different ways, depending upon the bias of the person stating them.

    I think if you take this poll as reflective, cryptic really needs to fix this.

    If we are the 5% or whatever posting against the rest of the playerbase, but the VAST majority of us, wants this system to be changed, I hope the heed this.

    Do not process RP and refinement as it currently stands. Thats going to lose your largest amount of people in this game.

    I wouldnt mind them as much if they could be had at a fairly reasonable pace, like regular gear time frame, so we can start playing the game with multiple toons again.

    They went WAY , way to overboard in last mod.

    No, no, no, no, no! NEVER! I swear, artifact gear was the worst thing that ever happened to this game, I don't care that my CW has the stuff, I will be glad to see it gone.

    +1 to that as a fellow altoholic.
    Its dreadful to refine artifact gear, it should level just like companions or something, then its ok to add more, otherwise PWE can stuff themselves with it.

    I think with a little tweaking, the system can actually be quite good. All you need is a tad lower overall RPs to legendary status and more RPs acquired in areas bots can't touch, so you can legitimately farm. You should also always get at least 1x RP back when using refined gear as material.

    I do wanna add that I'd welcome a completely new and better system if you could somehow salvage/use the old refined gear to get the new pieces faster. In no shape or form can it be acceptable that current gear and four refined pieces are made obsolete.

    There is too much emphasis on them now. Getting the necessary RP items and the needed drop has turned into a job and is not fun. I dropped out from GW2 in mid-2013 because the grind was just so repetitive.

    Only if refinement changes, it's the chance now that we would have new ones, make it easier and cheaper, or make it aviable by leveling using it, like companions.

    I realy want more artifact equips, not normal ones wich is alot harder to lv than equips, but to fix the ref system, they just need to make posible to put the entire stack of rp itens(peridot,...) that will make refining alot faster and easyer

    I don't think that will happen, because the annoying process is one of the incentives to buy high RP items from the ZEN store. Currently you can get a legendary artifact for 1.3M AD with R4s. It's much more expensive with stuff that gives more RP. In comparison one piece of artifact equipment is between 11-15M currently.

    Agreed, Cryptic has been disappointing the playerbase for 3 solid mods now, we need a change that doesn't involve increasing everybody's power but making/changing no content to be hard enough for them to play with some semblance of challenge. As for artifacts, almost everybody feels the same, they are sick to death of refining, I assume the artifacts we have will not be obsolete and I really hope they add some way to supplement the massive RP requirements for artifacts. If they don't people are going to vanish like flies when mod 6 rolls around...

    I dont care for artifact gear, but if they put them again, make it like weapon and offhands, with good slots for everyone till purple. and legendary a really leap for the big grinder/expenders. making gear like neck/belt that you actually need to make legendary to be able to use the actually good slot is just pathetically evil.

    I am caring more for some place actually nice to hand around and hopefully good missions you will be interested in doing for 10000000 times. I like the mini-lairs on dread ring, they should go back to Dread ring way of doing things, that's a place everyone finishes, it is great, the loot is great and the campaign doesn't drain your life force.
